GOOD MENTAL HEALTH. As the saying goes, happiness isn’t about having what you want. Happiness is wanting what you have.
People frequently ask about abundance, lack, money, and why they sometimes feel as though there is never enough.
It is a topic that goes much deeper than money. It is often connected to the beliefs we carry about ourselves, our worth, our safety, and what we believe is possible for us.
In today’s world
In today’s world, where we are constantly bombarded with information, expectations, and demands, many people live from a mindset of scarcity.
But what exactly is a scarcity mindset?
It is the belief that something is missing from our lives, whether we’re talking about money, love, success, happiness, or fulfillment.
For many people, this has become such a normal part of everyday life that it quietly shapes their thoughts, emotions, and actions.

What’s fascinating is that scarcity seems to be the default setting for so many of us. From an early age, we are conditioned by society, culture, and even our families to see the world through the lens of limitation.
‘There isn’t enough for this.’
‘You have to work hard to have anything.’ These are the kinds of beliefs that can become deeply embedded in our subconscious and influence the way we perceive our reality.
These deeply rooted beliefs can be incredibly powerful. When we constantly focus on what we don’t have, our energy moves toward fear, anxiety, and negative emotions. Over time, this can leave us feeling stuck and unable to move forward.
When we live with a long-standing belief in scarcity, we can become blind to the abundance that already surrounds us. This way of thinking affects not only our relationships with others, but also the relationship we have with ourselves.

Result
As a result, we may unknowingly close ourselves off to opportunities, experiences, and possibilities that could come into our lives with much greater ease.
But we don’t have to remain trapped in this pattern.
Changing a scarcity mindset is an important step toward personal growth and spiritual expansion. The first step is becoming aware of the beliefs we carry and understanding where they come from. Awareness is the beginning of transformation.
Ask yourself:
What do I truly believe about money? How do I perceive success? What fears come up for me when I think about not having enough? What if some of these beliefs were never really mine to begin with?
From there, we can begin transforming these patterns through affirmations, visualization, and the practice of gratitude.
When we recognize that abundance is a natural part of our experience, we begin opening ourselves to new possibilities. As our thinking changes, our perception changes, and this can profoundly change the way we experience our lives.

Thankfulness
Gratitude is especially powerful. When we appreciate what we already have instead of constantly focusing on what is missing, we shift our attention toward what is present, available, and already flowing into our lives.
Every step we take away from scarcity and toward abundance is a step toward a roomier way of living.
Ultimately, it is about becoming conscious of the thoughts and beliefs that shape the way we experience our reality.
Choose to consciously focus on abundance, possibility, gratitude, and trust. Allow yourself to experience all that life has to offer.
Remember, we are powerful creators of our own experience. Shifting from scarcity to abundance can be one of the most transformative steps we take on our spiritual journey.
