US Bases in the Middle East – Let’s Not Talk About Them

NEWS AWARENESS. Resentful American troops in the Middle East have leaked to social and mainstream media photos of extensive damage to US bases from Iranian strikes.

The vast amount of destruction at American facilities in the Middle East isn’t being communicated to the public, the soldiers told CBS

US troops have leaked new images to CBS News capturing widespread destruction at American military bases right across the Middle East from Iran’s missile and drone attacks.

Anonymous

The servicemen who provided the photos chose to stay anonymous because of harsh media restrictions in the US military, the outlet said.

‘This is major damage to our bases that hasn’t been communicated to the American public,’ one of the soldiers stationed in the region said.

Eyes Wide Closed

The service member complained about insufficient air defenses at the US facilities, saying ‘we’re standing there with our eyes closed getting punched in the face.’

The Iranian munitions that are getting through are not ‘squirters’ as US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth called them.

The Defense Secretary’s crass remarks were blurted out after six American troops were killed in a strike on a US military tactical operations center at the Port of Shuaiba in Kuwait in early March.

Sitting Ducks

‘We’re not defending these bases. We’re just watching them get destroyed.’

CBS News said that the photos it had received showed a $300 million US E-3 Sentry radar plane destroyed by a direct hit at Prince Sultan Air Force Base in Saudi Arabia as well as damaged buildings and burnt-out vehicles at Camp Buehring and Camp Arifjan in Kuwait.

$3.7 billion in equipment losses

Earlier this week, the US War Department’s inspector general issued a report, saying that the American forces have suffered $3.7 billion in equipment losses, including almost 60 aircraft, during the war against Iran, which started in late February with a US-Israeli surprise attack on the Islamic Republic.

All Bases Hit

American bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman and Jordan were hit, with hundreds of buildings and structures being damaged or destroyed, according to the inspector.

Last week, the acting secretary of the US Navy, Hung Cao, told the Epoch Times that Iran ‘blew the hell out of Bahrain,’ referring to the attacks on the American military facilities in the Gulf country.

‘We blew the hell out of the Sixth Fleet’

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi responded to the acknowledgement in a post on X, saying that ’our powerful Armed Forces did indeed ‘blow the hell out of the 5th Fleet HQ in Bahrain,’ as well as other bases supporting US aggression.’

You ain’t seen nothing yet

In early September, Iranian Parliament speaker and top negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned that further aggressive actions by the US will be met with faster, heavier and more painful retaliation by Tehran.

‘The Americans have surely understood that the era of proportionate responses has come to an end and our recent strikes against aggressor bases were only a start,’ Ghalibaf said.

(Unlocked for the Public) Intel Agencies Preparing for “Worst Food Catastrophe in human history”

As most long-time readers/Listeners know, for fifteen years, I worked with the FBI; my final five years 2003-2008, with the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF).

In December, 2009, my work with FBI came out in Brooklyn federal court when then Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Amy Pickett, of FBI New York City, testified under oath that I was “National Security Intelligence.”  She went on to tell the jury that people like me handled National Security, Terrorism, and Foreign Counter-Intelligence.

It also came out subsequently that I was one of the few Intel Assets who was granted “Extra-Territorial Operating Authority” by the Office of Intelligence at FBI Headquarters in Washington.

You see, the FBI is Chartered for DOMESTIC operations.   It is the CIA which is Chartered for foreign operations.   But in the Intelligence field, it is not uncommon that Intel work Domestically, leads to foreign activities/money/Perpetrators.

Whenever an FBI Asset had to travel outside the country to do operational activities, that had to be coordinated with the CIA.   I did NOT work for the CIA, but my FBI activities had to be coordinated with them.

Remember the old “Mission Impossible” TV series or the more recent movies?

Whenever they got a mission, they were told “. . .  if you or any of your IM force are caught, or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions.”

Well, I had the real life version of that.  I testified about it under oath in Brooklyn federal court in my second federal trial, in March, 2010.  (They ultimately put me on trial THREE times because the first two juries were “hung” and could not reach a unanimous verdict.) During my testimony, the government OBJECTED because I was reading it on the Witness Stand from an actual document THEY provided in Discovery.   So I closed the Evidence Binder and I recited it into the court record from memory:

“Asset must understand that if he should be captured, arrested, or jailed (Overseas), circumstances may be such that neither the FBI nor the Department of Justice may be able to help.”

It’s important I point out that it was read into evidence and testified to in open court, because the government asked the court for a Protective Order forbidding me from using any of the Discovery Documents for any purpose other than the trial and that order remains in effect to this day.  Since the testimony is in the open public court record, I can reference it here.

I was given the “Legat” (Legal Attache’) info in our Embassy as a contact in the country I was going to if I needed help, but if things got to that point, I was likely “Done.”   I was alone; on my own.  In a foreign country.  Doing Intel work, with no backup and no help.   All done knowing there would be no cavalry coming over the hill to help me if things went bad.   That was tough, dangerous, work!

When I traveled outside the US, my work often had to involve a foreign country’s intel people.  Most of them were in Law Enforcement.  Some were in Military Intelligence.  A very few were in THAT COUNTRY’s version of our CIA.

I forged relationships with those foreign intel people and I maintain some of those relationships to this very day.   Although many of the folks I dealt with have since retired, and some have passed away from natural causes, I still have relations with a number of such folks, or their successors, to this very day.

This means that I often (not always) get access to information that the “main stream” media, rarely ever gets close to.   Some of it, I can share with you.  Most of it, I cannot.   To do so would compromise sources and methods.  It could endanger people’s lives, and it would betray my country.   I won’t do that.

Yesterday, I took part in a secure (encrypted) video conference with several of the Intel folks I have relationships with from foreign countries.  It’s a big deal for me to do such a thing because I cannot use any of the computers here in my home; they’re all compromised.

I am monitored by (believe it or not) New Zealand, Australia, and Intel in the UK, who have “binded” to my Internet connections, and see, hear, record, copy, everything I do. The British are particularly sloppy and I was able to discover their activities early-on. Australia and New Zealand are also sloppy, so I caught them, too.

There is no U.S. Warrant to do this; they’ve done it under THEIR National Security Laws in THEIR countries.  Then they share it with US Intel Agencies and law enforcement.  Them sharing with the US also doesn’t require a US Warrant.

This is how the U.S. Intel community and Law Enforcement get around US Constitutional safeguards; they get a foreign country to do it, and then get the info via “intel sharing.”

I am under such intense surveillance, that two DAYS before I was released from federal prison, after the Obama Regime prosecuted me in 2009 and 2010 for an Editorial they didn’t like (they called it a “threat”), they installed a Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera on the telephone pole outside my condo building!  At the time, my son took pictures of the installer doing the work.  Here is a photo of the camera itself (today) outside my house:

Here’s a close-up so you can see the camera more clearly:

They are so paranoid about me, they also installed similar cameras two blocks UP my street, two blocks DOWN my street, and on the street BEHIND my condo building (Kennedy Blvd), so they can watch ME and everything and everyone interacting with me.

    It gets worse.

The government has radio monitoring equipment that can listen to absolutely EVERY radio frequency known to man.  Whether it is AM, FM, SSB, Digital . . .  they can intercept it ALL.

They installed a listening post about 100 feet from MY backyard, on the Apartment building next door and to the rear of my condo, and put the listening antenna on that building on the side facing MY building.

    Here.  Look:

Here it is zoomed-in so you can see it better:

That’s how paranoid they are about me.   This is what they do with an Intel Asset THEY betray and imprison.  They know I can do them real harm and they want to make sure they have a heads-up if I ever decide to actually do it.

So when I have to engage in something like a secret group communication with other intel assets from around the world, it’s a big deal to make certain it is done in a way they can’t intercept.  There’s nothing ILLEGAL or nefarious going on, mind you, but security of my sources is paramount.

For instance, I can’t carry my cellphone with me when I go.  I can’t go in any of my own vehicles.  I have to exit the premises in a way that cannot be seen on any camera (think laying in the trunk of a neighbors car.)  I can’t bring any of my computers with me.  I have to make my way to a comms location in a manner to assure I’m not being followed.   It’s really a big deal.

The logistics of me having a private Intel conversation are cumbersome, but necessary to assure communications security.

    The Intel Conversation

The topics discussed yesterday are severe; some of the worst info I’ve ever received.

The whole civilized, developed, world is on the verge of a collapse.

Countries are now preparing for the deadliest food crisis in history.  Yes, you read that right: FOOD.

Over the past few days, the Yasref oil refinery at the Yanbu terminal in Saudi Arabia was completely destroyed.

NASA’s FIRMS Satellite confirms vast bodies of intense fire (red squares) throughout the refinery:

    https://halturnerradioshow.com/images/2026/09/16/NASA-FIRMS-Confirms-Vast-Fire-At-YASREF.jpg

Yasref produced about 11 million gallons of clean diesel fuel every day, plus gasoline and sulfur.

Saudi Arabia can no longer export crude oil or diesel, or fertilizer.  The Persian Gulf is closed at the Strait of Hormuz, the Houthis in Yemen have blown up Saudi Arabia’s East-West pipeline, and conquered all the geographic coastline of Yemen along the Red Sea, giving them absolute operational control over the Strait of Bab al-Mandeb.   The Houthis have forbidden shipping to/from Saudi Arabia in the Red Sea.

Saudi Aramco just cancelled all of their crude oil exports to Europe because the East-West Pipeline is destroyed.  Houthis from Yemen hit the pipeline in nine separate areas along its several hundred mile length.  They also hit PUMPING STATIONS.

    https://halturnerradioshow.com/images/2026/09/16/Saudis-cancel-Europe-oil.jpg

Here is what just ONE of those pumping stations now looks like from the air:

    https://halturnerradioshow.com/images/2026/09/16/Hi-Res-Saudi-East-West-Pipe-Pumping-Station-Demolished.jpg

U.S.  Energy Secretary Chris Wright is out there telling the media Saudi Arabia expects to have the East-West Pipeline repaired “in about a week.”   Sorry, not going to happen.  Not with this level of Damage.  It’s going to take MONTHS (at best) and likely upwards of a year.

Here’s a brief video – publicly available – showing you some of the other pumping stations.  They didn’t fare much better:

    <MEDIA>@htrs-special.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com

So Saudi Arabia being boxed-in and being unable to ship oil or oil-related products, or fertilizer, was “the straw that broke the camels back.”  Not because of oil . . . . because of fertilizers.

Brazil is one of the world’s largest food exporters.

But even Brazil is now collapsing because of food.  Their general public has not been told.

They import 80% of their fertilizer, urea and sulfur.

All these imports are now blocked.

Intel people from around the world confirmed to me via video conference that tens-of-thousands of trucks that transport grain from farms to mills worldwide, have stopped.  They either cannot get – or cannot afford to buy – diesel fuel.

The intel guys also confirmed to me that ships which carry rice and wheat have also stopped.  They can’t get – or can’t afford – BUNKER FUEL.  That’s what large, ocean-going vessels have to use to power the ship engines.  So a lot of the ships are now stopped.   Food isn’t moving at the levels needed to feed people.

Here in the US, Tractors that plow and plant crops have also stopped.  Farmers report they either cannot get, or more often cannot afford, diesel fuel.  They also report they cannot get or cannot afford, fertilizer.

Many Farmers simply did not plant a second crop for harvest this year.  They can’t.  The ground is exhausted and they have no fertilizer.

The diesel crisis will only get worse from here.

This situation with Diesel will cripple irrigation and harvesting.  The farm equipment that does those things cannot be run because the costs for fuel have gotten so high.

Saudi has now made a formal request to the US and to the UK prime minister to bomb Yemen to prevent the Houthis from continuing to block the Red Sea port at Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.  No word on whether the British will do so.  President Trump already told the Saudis “no.”

Saudi Crown Prince MBS also met US Central Command Chief Admiral Brad Cooper in Jeddah.  This is where the worst information came out; directly from the mouth of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.

MBS warned Admiral Cooper about the “worldwide catastrophe that’s coming.”

Because Diesel has gotten so expensive, and because there is little to no fertilizer available to Farmers globally, crop harvests are much lower than usual, and in many places, there can be no second harvest this year.

Riots have already started in Syria.  These riots are primarily over the rising cost of fuel, but also about the availability of food.

The Intel guys I conferenced with told me “There will most likely be more riots in multiple countries soon.”

They also told me “Countries could start attacking each other to fight for the remaining resources.”

The bottom line: “Human civilization ____could____ totally collapse.”

Not “some time” in the future.   Soon.  In some places, before Christmas.

Here’s the worst part:  NONE of this can be avoided now.   The oil reserves are almost gone, the fertilizer is almost non-existent and even if it magically became available tomorrow, we’ve missed the second harvest planting.  The food supply CANNOT be grown in time.

There is no avoiding what’s coming.

The only hope we have is for those of us who know what’s coming, to take action now and buy extra food.

Bags and Bags of white rice.  Not brown rice; it has oils and those oils go rancid.

    Boxes and boxes of Pasta.

Lots and lots of Canned foods: meat, tuna/fish, vegetables.

    Jarred sauces and gravy

If you buy meat that has to be frozen, make sure you have an emergency generator for electric to keep the refrigerator/freezer running if the power goes down.

If you have a generator, make sure you have FUEL for it.  Store it safely and legally in accordance with your local fire code.

Those of you who have SOLAR panels, make sure you have enough battery capacity to extend the amount of power you can store.  Winter’s coming fast. Sunlight in winter is not really enough for most people in the northern latitudes to live completely on solar, unless the ONLY thing you power is your  refrigerator/freezer.

We’re coming into what history will likely record as the most deadly food situation in human history.   A lot of us won’t make it.

Whether YOU have any chance at all, depends upon the steps you take right now to prepare.

The clock is ticking  Things only get worse from here. We told you so months ago…

Archbishop of Canterbury forced to withdraw controversial award given on anniversary of 9/11 to Muslim cleric who praised Bin Laden

The Archbishop of Canterbury has been forced to withdraw an award she gave to a Muslim cleric on the anniversary of 9/11 after it emerged he had once praised Osama Bin Laden.

The Most Rev Sarah Mullally presented the prize for ‘Reconciliation and Interfaith Cooperation’ to Tahir Ashrafi on the same day that the world marked 25 years since the terror attacks on America.

But she faced a major backlash after it emerged that the group of Islamic scholars Mr Ashrafi chairs in Pakistan had previously given its highest honour to the Al Qaeda chief.

His Pakistan Ulema Council gave Bin Laden a religious title meaning ‘Sword of Allah’ in retaliation for Britain awarding a knighthood to Satanic Verses author Salman Rushdie.

Mr Ashrafi said in June 2007: ‘We are pleased to award the title of Saifullah to Osama bin Laden after the British government’s decision to bestow the title of “Sir” on blasphemer Rushdie. This is the highest title for a Muslim warrior.’

He added: ‘If a blasphemer can be given the title ‘Sir’ by the West despite the fact that he’s hurt the feelings of Muslims, then a mujahid who has been fighting for Islam against the Russians, Americans and British must be given the lofty title of Islam, Saifullah.’

  3. Trump says he has ‘big decision coming up’ on Iran war

According to a report from Axios, President Donald Trump said Thursday that he is approaching a “big decision” on the next phase of the war with Iran — including whether to pursue the destruction of the Iranian regime.

“I have a big decision coming up. Do I want to go in and annihilate them [the Iranian regime] or do I not? It’s a big decision. Anything could happen with me,” Trump told the outlet.

The president has used similar language at earlier points in the conflict. The latest remarks land days before a Tuesday meeting with leaders from six Gulf countries on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly in New York. Trump told Axios that what those allies say will shape how he proceeds.

“I want to find out where they are and how they are doing. We have been very protective of them,” he said.

The session at U.N. headquarters in Manhattan is expected to include the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman — partners that have absorbed missile and drone attacks, watched oil routes tighten and relied on U.S. air defenses as the war has stretched on.

Trump did not announce a deadline, a new campaign or a diplomatic offer. He framed the choice in the starkest terms: whether to try to finish the regime or hold back. By tying that choice to a conversation with Gulf leaders, he cast the next move as both a military question and a test of how far America’s closest partners in the region are willing to go.

  6. F-16 Crash Prompts Urgent Evacuation in Michigan’s Grand Traverse County

A Texas Air National Guard F-16 fighter jet crashed Thursday, Sept. 17, in Michigan’s Grand Traverse County – prompting local emergency management officials to issue evacuation orders for residents near the impact site, according to the Grand Traverse Emergency Management Agency.

The pilot ejected safely before the aircraft went down and was reported to be in stable condition, officials said. The incident occurred approximately seven miles south of Grand Traverse during what the 149th Fighter Wing described as a routine training mission. The unit is based at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

An evacuation order was issued along part of County Road 633, the Grand Traverse Emergency Management Agency said. The crash represents the latest in a series of military aviation incidents involving F-16 fighters, according to available reporting on the aircraft [1][2]. The F-16 platform has been the subject of extensive aeronautical research, including studies examining structural fatigue and vibration mitigation on the airframe. [3] Evacuation and Emergency Response

The Grand Traverse Emergency Management Agency ordered evacuations within one mile of the crash site, officials said. The evacuation order remained in effect along part of County Road 633, according to the agency. Local authorities did not immediately specify how many residents were affected or when the order might be lifted.

Video footage shared on social media showed black smoke rising from the crash site, the report stated. The visual evidence underscored the severity of the incident, which occurred in a populated area rather than in a remote training range. Emergency officials said they were working to gather additional information on the crash and its aftermath.

The episode recalls broader concerns about military aircraft incidents in recent years. A 2022 analysis of military aviation accidents noted that such crashes during training exercises have continued to claim service members’ lives despite ongoing safety reviews [4]. Public involvement in military training range planning has been documented as one approach to addressing community concerns about training activities near populated areas [5]. Pilot and Unit Details

The pilot was part of the 149th Fighter Wing based at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, according to a unit spokesperson. The pilot was on a routine training mission when the unspecified mishap occurred, officials said. The pilot’s condition was reported as stable, according to the report.

A spokesperson with the 149th Fighter Wing of the Texas National Guard confirmed the incident, CBS News reported. The 149th Fighter Wing is a component of the Texas Air National Guard and operates the F-16 Fighting Falcon, a multirole fighter aircraft that has been in service with the U.S. Air Force since the late 1970s.

The F-16 has accumulated a substantial operational history, including use in combat theaters and allied air forces. Published accounts have documented F-16 losses in various contexts, from friendly-fire incidents in active conflict zones [1] to peacetime training accidents [4]. Research into the aircraft’s structural integrity has examined issues such as buffet-induced vibration on the ventral fin, a subject of numerical and experimental study. [3] Official Statements

U.S. Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI), said in a statement” “I am closely monitoring the situation as we work to get more information on the incident. I am praying that the pilot and folks on the ground are safe.” The National Pulse reported that Peters issued the statement after the crash.

No other statements from officials were included in early reporting on the incident. The report stated that the pilot was safe and that the evacuation order remained in effect as of Thursday evening.

The absence of broader official comment left several questions unanswered, including the specific nature of the mishap, the altitude at which the pilot ejected, and whether the aircraft carried live ordnance during the training flight. Military officials have previously emphasized that crash investigations into F-16 incidents can take months to complete, with findings released only after thorough review. Investigation and Developing Story

The cause of the crash was under investigation, officials said. The report stated that the story was developing and that more information would be provided as it became available. No additional details about the training mission or the crash site were immediately released, according to officials.

Military aviation investigations typically involve multiple agencies and can extend over extended periods. A 2007 study on F-16 structural dynamics examined the effectiveness of piezoelectric actuators in reducing vibratory response due to buffet loads on the ventral fin, illustrating the complexity of the aircraft’s engineering that investigators may consider [3].

As the investigation continues, residents near the crash site awaited word on when evacuation orders might be lifted. The incident underscored the inherent risks of military flight operations, even during stateside training missions. References
