Mad Museum removes Irish Hero’s Hat

The museum removed the cap which had been on display for decades for ‘ethical reasons’ as it had visible signs of blood and organic brain matter that stained the original user’s headwear. Blood and organic matter residue are visible on the back of the cap at the point where the fatal bullet entered Collins’s head.

Theirs was a family whose merits had given an entire region of Galway its name, ‘Joyce’s Country’. The Joyce family roots could be traced back to William the Conqueror’s colonisation of medieval England and the later crusades. Among Joyce’s ancestors were three archbishops, three founders of the Dominican College at Louvain, several mayors of Galway, an historian, a nineteenth century poet-physician, an American revivalist preacher, and the noted author and poet James Joyce.

Bill Gates Buys the BBC

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation provided millions of pounds in funding to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) over the years. Despite being the United Kingdom’s public service and supposedly independent broadcaster, the station’s international charity BBC Media Action receives heavy funding from the Gates Foundation

Black Lives Matter raises $10.6 billion since May

A fool and his money are soon parted, as the saying goes: Following death through natural causes (autopsy report suppressed by media) of George Floyd on May 25, the message Black Lives Matter appeared on signs at protests across the world. Streets were painted with the words and they were one of the top searches on Google for 2020. Major corporations and high profile political leaders, even radio stations and television broadcasters bizarrely adopted the slogan to show their support in the fight ‘to end injustice’ and with all this exposure came mega donations to BLM, a grassroots group that popped up in 2013.
