Iran the Impregnable Fortress

GLOBAL NEWS: The West better understand exactly what it could be walking into with Iran.

Iran was already one of the strongest military powers in the Middle East before this massive mobilization began.

Its conventional military has roughly 420,000 personnel, backed by more than 190,000 Revolutionary Guard troops and the enormous Basij network. Altogether, Iran has access to a military and paramilitary structure capable of mobilizing around one million trained personnel.

Now Iran is building something much bigger.

Iranian authorities say more than 31 million people have registered for the country’s Janfada national mobilization campaign.

Think of Janfada as a massive wartime mobilization system. People register to serve wherever Iran needs them, military and security forces, medical services, rescue operations, transportation, logistics, communications and the enormous support system required to keep a country fighting.

No Conscription Needed

Iran has already begun organizing additional volunteers, conducting military training and establishing resistance battalions throughout the country. Iranian officials have publicly discussed training more than one million additional people, while reports have circulated of an eventual target approaching two million.

Then there are the weapons.

Iran possesses thousands of ballistic and cruise missiles and one of the largest and most diverse missile arsenals in the Middle East. Its drone program has added another massive layer to its ability to strike targets throughout the region.

Much of Iran’s military infrastructure is underground.

Iran says it has constructed more than 100 kilometres of underground missile complexes, burying missiles, launchers and military infrastructure beneath mountains and hardened facilities.

Then there is the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran has submarines, fast attack craft, shore-based anti-ship weapons and an inventory estimated in the thousands of naval mines. The Strait remains one of the most strategically important shipping corridors on Earth, giving Iran enormous leverage over the waters directly off its coast.

Now imagine trying to invade this country.

Military planners have historically used roughly three attackers for every defender at the decisive point as a rule of thumb when assaulting prepared defensive positions.

Now start doing the math.

If Iran eventually develops a force approaching three million trained and organized personnel, a simple three-to-one calculation produces an astonishing figure: Nine million.

And Iran would be fighting on its own soil.

Mountains. Deserts. Massive cities. Underground facilities. Missile batteries. Drones. Naval forces. Revolutionary Guard units. Basij formations. Resistance battalions.

And behind all of it, a national mobilization system Iran says has attracted more than 31 million registrations.

An invading army would have to transport soldiers, ammunition, fuel, food, vehicles, replacement equipment and medical supplies thousands of kilometres while simultaneously protecting air bases, ships, ports and supply routes throughout the Middle East.

Iran has roughly 90 million people spread across more than 1.6 million square kilometres.

Bombing Iran is one kind of war.

Taking Iran is another. Eventually somebody has to control the mountains, highways, cities, ports and territory on the ground.

That is where the sheer scale becomes frightening.

Iran is preparing layers of regular troops, Revolutionary Guard forces, Basij formations, newly trained volunteers and millions of citizens capable of supporting the war effort behind them.

So before Western leaders casually start talking about putting boots on Iranian soil, perhaps they should answer one simple question:

How many millions of boots are they prepared to send?

And perhaps the most dangerous question will eventually come from the American soldiers being ordered into this fight: Who exactly are we dying for?

If Washington sends American troops into Iran to pursue the strategic objectives of the Israeli government, those soldiers may increasingly wonder whether they’re defending America at all or simply being treated as expendable manpower, what some would provocatively call ‘goyim’ sent to fight somebody else’s war.

America Bleeds on Iranian Soil

American sons and daughters would be the ones bleeding on Iranian soil, American families would receive the coffins, and American taxpayers would inherit the bill.

After decades of disastrous Middle Eastern wars, Washington should have to answer one question before sacrificing another generation: Is this really America’s war, or are Americans being sent to die for Zionists Israel’s?
