Stephan Provost-Richter. On November 5, 2024, during voting in North Carolina, I found myself standing in line, and the unwashed fellow in front of me smelled of mould and poverty. His eyes were vacant.
The guy behind me is so feminine that I didn’t realize he was a man until he opened his mouth and started arguing with the poll worker about his ‘pronouns’.
Diversity Doomed
Speaking of poll workers, the one I spoke to talked as if he had a hot potato on his tongue, with an accent typical of Indian or Pakistani people.

He didn’t have the moustache I associate with Pakistanis, so I figured he was probably Indian. Pleasant enough fellow. Then there are the candidates to choose from in this great color-blind, egalitarian bath.
The old and the young, the black and the white, and every shade in between, all gathered together, each with exactly the same political voice.
What are we actually choosing?
Candidates who look positively elated when they win, mostly, I suspect, because they’ve landed the job. And what a job it is!
Access to wealth, influence, and privilege in our socialist oligarchy.
The promises will disappear the moment they reach Washington, and the game will become one of political survival, cliques, alliances, submission to power brokers, and securing their place within the hierarchy.
Ideas and political philosophies are never seriously debated because the game was never about those things in the first place.

What a system is, is what a system does.
Now consider Michigan, where yesterday, Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed proudly gives his name in Arabic as an opening declaration:
‘My name is…’, in what was once a predominantly white, Christian country. He does that because he’s planting a flag and he knows it.
I doubt the Founders ever envisioned the First Amendment being invoked in the cultural and political circumstances we now find ourselves in.
And the people applaud
Much as they applaud when informed that the White House restaurant uniquely offers kosher Jewish food.

Everything becomes another occasion to celebrate the new order, while the larger questions about national identity, sovereignty, and the character of the country go unanswered.
Classless stew
Returning to that great democratic degalitarian bath, I remember growing increasingly nauseous at everything going on around me.
I decided at that moment that this would be the last time I played the oligarchy’s game and pretended to go along with everybody else.
The great neutering

The last two years have only confirmed that decision. I will not validate the oligarchy through my participation in this farce, pretending we’re still living in a republic as anarcho-tyranny spreads
Judges become increasingly political and dole out absurd rulings, degeneracy continues unabated, and the proliferation of unethical laws fills an ever-increasing number of pages.
My birthright has been stolen. The whole thing is disgusting.
The situation we find ourselves in demands a more radical response, but that instinct will instead be satisfied through a machine that, for all we know, may or may not be accurate, controlled, or partisan.
Two slave masters
We are expected to believe that feeding a ballot into this contraption constitutes meaningful political action, that choosing between approved candidates amounts to exercising sovereignty.
Meanwhile, I’ve watched the same trends move steadily toward their ultimate aims.

Also seem to not matter
The acceleration became obvious in 2020, but all of that has been forgotten, as have the Biden years and all their dysfunctions.
And for some, Trump’s reversal on all the issues he once defended also seems not to matter. They’re still wearing the stupid hat just like others still wear a mask, when I venture out from my lair.
Nothing fundamental is ever addressed
Not the nature of the system, not the concentration of power, not the financial interests behind it, not the erosion of sovereignty, and certainly not the political philosophy that sustains the entire arrangement.
We merely replace personnel, congratulate ourselves on another victory, and return to precisely the same trajectory. We bounce from red to blue and blue to red, and your digital prison still awaits.
