Bolshevik Occupied Russia killed 20 times as many Russians in peacetime as did the Germans during the Reich’s pre-emptive war. This broke out as Stalin was massing the Red Army for an attack on Germany from the East.
The Bolshevik Armies outnumbered the German invaders by 1/3rd (3 million vs 4.5 million). Over 1 million overwhelmed Red Army troops immediately surrendered.
The Reich armies reached Moscow in 16 weeks. Even with the massive Capitalist countries’ aid, it took the Red Army two years to reach Berlin.

Heroic Red Army? Really?
This was the same ‘invincible’ Red Army that had been routed and defeated by a farmer’s army when Stalin invaded the Finnish motherland in 1939.
A Red Army that had then crushed, plundered and occupied Poland, tiny Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, and a score of other Eastern European nations.
It is what Bolsheviks impudently call ‘defending their motherland.’ It is what the Capitalist West describes as a liberation.

5,000 tanks and 7,000 aircraft were delivered, not to mention 15 million pairs of boots, among the four million tons of vital supplies sent to the Allies.
101 Allied Ships and crews were sunk
A total of 1,400 vessels plied the route in 78 convoys between August 1941 and May 1945; 101 ships were lost. Belfast’s own sister ship, HMS Edinburgh, was sunk near Murmansk.
The first convoy was carrying a very special cargo. By September 1, 550 pilots and ground crew from No 151 Wing of the RAF arrived in Murmansk.
With them were delivered 40 Hawker Hurricane fighters, the planes that, together with the Spitfire, had won the Battle of Britain.
Britain Saves Private Stalin
Their objective was to provide immediate air defense against the Axis forces that had launched Operation Silver Fox in the hope of capturing this vital port.
They were also there to train Soviet pilots to operate the first of what would eventually total almost 3,000 Hurricanes delivered to the Soviets.
For their efforts, four pilots in 151 Wing would become the only Britons in the Second World War to receive the Order of Lenin, among them New Zealand-born Wing Commander Henry Ramsbottom-Isherwood, who later served in Burma.

Great post, Mike. Another little archival fact that most people don’t know, is the actual number of Soviet military deaths attributed to the Wehrmacht. At Potsdam just before Clement Attlee replaced Winston Churchill, Churchill asked Stalin why he was demanding so many prisoners for reconstruction work? Stalin replied, “we have lost close to five million in this war from German aggression.’ Churchill finally left the Potsdam conference on July 26, 1945, almost three months after the German capitulation on May 7, 1945. The latest propaganda about Soviet deaths is anywhere from 27 to 29 million dead. This is clear exaggeration, though I’m sure the NKVD and other secret police murdered far more Soviet citizens than can even be imagined.

Good post, obv (((merchants))) weren’t going to let their commie utopia fall, so they outfitted them with all kinds of kit and sadly most ppl just shrug their shoulders as to why after that, it was all used against them in the cold war (to the point when Stalin had the few bombers than had to ditch in the USSR copied, the Soviet engineers fearful of his wrath, even copied the “Boeing” logos inside the planes). Sadly uncle ‘stach was let down by his allies, by Nippon not fighting the USSR, it allowed millions of troops move west to the European front. Given the allies ease of self serving/ignoring rules like occupying neutral nations, etc. the fact they didn;t let the Germans and Soviets duke it out alone to maximally weaken both of them before dealing with the eventual winner, shows you what their top interest was beyond self national interests.
Also sad nowadays how the history of WW2 has been misused and ignorance on both sides, Russia, still embracing their soviet past for it and the west ignoring Ukraine’s role then because its useful for todays fight(like when Canada’s parliament cheered the Ukrainian soldier from WW2, thinking we were fighting Russia/USSR in WW2, as most libtards love to “punch a nazi” LOL , as most boomers and younger were brought up in the era when the USSR was the bad guys, so Pootin must be Stalin. Ukraine are the nazis, but they’re the good ones, according to the @dl cause today they serve (((people))). Reminds me of the old saying”he may be an SOB, but hes OUR SOB” but they will refuse to look deeper into why the Ukraine and Finns were on that side and what they REALLY stood for. I think in time, WW2 in the west, will be thought of like the mask people during COVID, they cant accept the fact they were so wrong about something they’re so invested in, so they happily live with their cognitive dissonances.

Scott. I live in Western Canada, choc-a-block full of “Ukrainians”. They are not a monolith. The first ones, mostly farmers arrived here in 1890. They were recruited because the weather and land is much like Ukraine. My parents, born in the first decade of the last century, noted that there were 2 types of “Ukrainians”. The ones that integrated and those who did not.The 2nd wave of “Ukrainians” along with Mennonites, came in the 1920s, post Russian civil war. Many had fought with the White Russians, then fled, and many could not get out. They came mainly from the territories ripped from Austria and Hungary post WWI. Large numbers of these people, and now many of their descendants, are essentially Ukrainians living in Canada. The Ukrainian cheered by Parliament was from this group. The ones that have integrated, while proud of their heritage, are genuinely nice people and most understand that while saddening, what is happening is not their war. Unfortunately, the fanatics seem to be on the rise. I suspect that Canada’s multicultural policy has aided that. I grew up with kids from both groups and had a good friend whose family had chosen to integrate. Lovely people who fit right in.

Filled with grave concern for the existence and the future of our Volk, I decided on June 22 to direct an appeal to you in order to forestall the threatening attack of an opponent at the last minute. As we know today, it was the intention of the rulers in the Kremlin {Hitler knows they were NOT Russian] to destroy not only Germany, but also Europe. Comrades, you have realized two things in the meantime:
1. This opponent armed himself militarily for his attack to such an enormous extent that even our greatest fears were surpassed.
2. Lord have mercy on our Volk and on the entire European world if this barbaric enemy had been able to get his tens of thousands of tanks to move before we could. All of Europe would have been lost.

On July 10, the first two great battles of encirclement at Belostok (Bialyostok) and Minsk were concluded. The result was six hundred sixty-three thousand prisoners, twelve hundred forty-two tanks, and fifty-four hundred fifty-two guns destroyed or captured. On October 21, the conquest of Dago (Hiiumaa) was completed. On October 24, the industrial center Kharkov was taken. On October 28, after hard fighting, a gateway to the Crimea was forced open. As early as November 2, the capital Simferopol was stormed. On November 16, the Crimean Peninsula was cut through at Kerch. On December 1, the total number of captured Soviets stood at three million eight hundred six thousand eight hundred sixty-five The number of destroyed or captured tanks was twenty-one thousand three hundred ninety-one, the number of guns thirty-two thousand five hundred forty-one, and the number of planes fourteen thousand three hundred twenty-two.
