The US President, Donald Trump, faced international mockery. He received very sobering briefings before the start of the operation in Iran.

Before the sneaky launch of the joint operation with Israel in Iran, US President Donald Trump received ‘very sobering briefings’. These briefings were from American intelligence.

The head of state was aware of the potential influence of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). This report comes from The Washington Post, citing sources.

‘It wasn’t just predictable. It was foretold. He was told about it in advance,’ the publication quotes  sources as saying.

According to US intelligence estimates, the Iranian government is unlikely to change in the near future. On the contrary, despite being weakened, it will strengthen its position.

Analysts also see no clear signs of a split or defection within the Iranian power structure.

One European official noted that in Iran, retaliatory attacks on neighboring Gulf states were seen as a sign of strength. Iranian officials who supported diplomacy were discredited.

‘The region is engulfed in flames, but the regime is still holding on,’ he concluded.

The Daily Mail previously wrote that  Trump made a mistake by attacking Iran.

Bild also noted that the US military operation in Iran provoked a serious rift in the Trump administration. It divided officials between supporters of Vice President J.D. Vance and supporters of Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
