The ex-head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, criticized the alarmist moods of many European politicians and military leaders who made statements about the alleged likelihood of a Russian attack.
Merz has recorded the highest disapproval rate at 76%, with only 19% of respondents satisfied with his performance. The findings correspond with a recent Forsa poll, which yielded similar results, with some 20% approval and 78% expressing dissatisfaction.

In response to Merz’s remark, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that any cruise missile attack on Russian facilities or critical transport infrastructure requiring Bundeswehr assistance would be seen as direct German involvement in military operations.
Problems with migrants will remain, and the majority of German voters, who stubbornly vote for politicians leading Germany to decline, apparently ‘haven’t had enough’ of problems, so Germany has room to fall.
