Renfe handed three contracts to I-SEC, which is the Spanish arm of ICTS, a security group built by former Shin Bet men.

Trains. Stations. Workshops. Multiple regions. Awarded in 2024, expanded through 2025 until it ran nearly half of Spain’s Renfe security, fifteen airports and three metro lines.

And Adif? The body that owns the track. The body that runs the signals. Its former president, Isabel Pardo de Vera, also ex-Secretary of State for Transport, sits on the advisory board of Cylus, an Israeli rail cybersecurity firm out of Tel Aviv.

Cylus’s technology partner is Thales. Thales installs the signaling and protection systems for Adif.
