Martyred Maria del Carmen passes to the other side

The martyred 87-year-old pensioner whose cruel and very public eviction sparked mass protests in Madrid, Spain, has passed to the other side.

Spanish resident Maria del Carmen Abascal (Maricarmen), whose eviction from her apartment sparked mass protests amid sharp rent increases across the country, has died at the age of 87.

El Mundo reports this, citing a statement from the Madrid Tenants’ Union.

The lady had lived in a rented apartment in central Madrid since 1956, which her father had rented. The 94-square-meter apartment has three bedrooms and one bathroom.

Murdered by Property Speculators

In 2018, the building changed hands, and Maricarmen’s apartment was subsequently purchased by Urbagestión.

She was paying approximately €440 in rent. Urbagestión offered a new contract for €1,600 per month, while Maricarmen’s pension was approximately €1,400. She refused the new terms, and the dispute continued in the courts.

A Stretcher Expulsion

On September 23, the pensioner was carried out of her home on a stretcher and taken to the hospital.

SPAIN MOURNS: Hundreds of thousands are tonight mourning the passing of Maria del Carmen’s and her martyrdom. A pundit says, ‘You wouldn’t put a dog out on the street as this elderly lady was.

As AP noted, the widespread dissemination of footage of the eviction sparked criticism from government agencies and real estate investment companies across Spain.

Later, under pressure from a public campaign, Urbagestión agreed to return her apartment to her on comparable rental terms.

LIFE IN THE REICH by historian Mike Walsh: The standard of living in Hitler’s Third Reich surpassed that of the developed world. Workers enjoyed a lifestyle comparable to movie stars. Germany led the world in fashion, medicine, cinema, lifestyle, manufacturing, transport infrastructure, public facilities, cutting-edge science, healthcare and education. Abascal’s cause of death is unclear, but multiple local media outlets reported that her physical condition had worsened amid the legal battle.

Commenting on her death, the Madrid Tenants’ Union called Abascal’s situation “a turning point in the history of this country.”

“Speculation costs lives, and today rent profiteering has finished killing our colleague Maricarmen,” the union’s spokeswoman said.

Some of the messages laid at an impromptu memorial read, “it’s not a death, it’s a killing,” and “the fight will continue.”

  1. Let’s be clear. Since the Covid mass inoculation and the draconian treatment carried out against the populace by governments something in the psyche of people began to shift. You don’t have to be a psychic, noticing on a daily how our fellow men and women are behaving rather strangely toward each other. The lack in consciousness and a growing void of empathetic behavior toward others is clearly visible. People no longer seem to care. The lights are on, but nobody is home. It’s like someone changed the frequency. People are in each others face for the smallest thing. Worse, physical altercations take place without a forewarning. These are the signs of more trouble ahead, and it is highly recommended to be aware of ones surrounding when going outside.

WEF and Blaockrock are shocked that revolt hasn’t happened yet.
