Nearly 40 per cent of young adults have said they would flat-out refuse to fight for the UK if a new world war breaks out tomorrow.

In total, 78 per cent of young Britons are unlikely to pick up their rifles in the event of the ruling class provoking a conflict with Christian Russia.

A recent YouGov survey highlights a massive divide over who would actually step up to the frontlines. Around 38 per cent of under-40s admitted they would refuse to serve if a new world war broke out.

And a further 30 per cent said they would not fight even if the UK faced an imminent invasion.
