THE SECRET OF A HAPPY MARRIAGE

Marriage Laid Bare: There once was a man and a woman who had been married for more than 60 years. They talked about everything.

They kept no secrets from each other… except that the old woman had a shoe box in the top of her closet that she cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about it.

For all these years he had never thought about the box. But one day the little old woman got very sick and the doctor said she would never recover.

In trying to sort out their affairs the little old man took down the shoe box and took it to his wife’s bedside. She agreed it was time that he should know what was in the box.

When he opened it, he found 2 beautifully crocheted doilies and a stack of money totalling over $25,000. He asked her about the unusual contents.

‘When we were married,’ she said, ‘my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage was to never argue. She told me that if I ever got angry with you, I should just keep quiet and crochet a doily.’

The little old man was so moved, he had to fight back tears. There were only two precious doilies in the box. She had only been angry with him two times in all those years of living and loving. He almost burst with joy and happiness.

‘Sweetheart,’ he said… ‘that explains the doilies, but what about all this money? Where did it all come from?’

Oh,’ she said, ‘that’s the money I made from selling the doilies.’ You can share this story on social media:

  2. I’m referring to “Holidays Europa” Part 2, where a lady tries to find love. What she encountered was not love at all—it felt manipulative and radical, not respectful or genuine. The result was that a good-hearted person ended up dealing with someone dangerous instead of a real partner.

If you meet a man from the Middle East, be careful. Sometimes, later on, you may find out the situation was not what you thought. Please don’t assume love is real just because someone is charming at first. Protect yourself.

I’m not here to insult anyone’s background or make general accusations about an entire group. I’m saying that anyone—no matter where they are from—can try to take advantage of someone’s hopes, especially when they think the other person wants a “green card” or special benefits.

If we truly want to address serious concerns, the only fair way is to handle it properly. If someone is trying to exploit you or deceive you, the responsible step is to report it to the police or the appropriate authorities. If anyone makes threats or lies, it’s not something to keep secret.

I’m also clear about what I want: I don’t want to be treated like I’m hunting for a “sugar daddy” or “sugar mommy.” I’m not interested in arrangements that destroy someone’s future. I want equal respect and an equal life—no tricks, no unfair trade, no losing your home or security.

Love should not be based on money, pressure, or risk. It should be based on trust, truth, and mutual respect. Don’t just fall for the first person you meet—especially when there are signs of deception.

Many of these ladies are kind and beautiful, but they end up sleeping with the “devil” because they were not protected by security, information, or boundaries. That’s why we need better awareness, safety, and reality checks.

Before making big life decisions—like moving abroad or building a relationship—people should verify facts, take time, and understand who they are truly dealing with. If it’s real love, it will survive honesty, patience, and proper trust.

So this is my message: be safe, be smart, and don’t let anyone use your dream of love to take everything from you. I hope those 8 lady read it .
