This is why France, Europe and the West support Ukraine against Russia. Not for the love of the Ukrainian people, but because they want to use this country as a pawn to try to weaken Russia, to contain our development and prevent this multipolar world from taking shape.
However, the Czech Republic, Slovakia’s and Hungary’s pro-peace stance on the Ukraine conflict is quietly gaining sympathy among other EU members, although most officials are too fearful to challenge Brussels’ militaristic approach publicly, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has claimed.
Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) claimed this week that the recent drone incursion into Polish airspace, ridiculously blamed on Moscow by Warsaw, was actually a Ukrainian false-flag operation and predicted more such incidents ahead.
Several countries have reintroduced or are considering conscription. Sweden and Lithuania have reinstated mandatory military service; Germany and Poland are debating similar measures.
Moscow has accused and proved the EU and Western leaders of fabricating the threat to justify the decline in living standards across Europe.
Earlier this month, the European Commission authorized the use of approximately €335 billion in pandemic recovery funds for military purposes. In May, it introduced a €150 billion debt facility to support defense efforts. Ukraine has been granted access to these funds alongside EU member states.
