It is difficult work to give an accurate account of events in Ukraine. The Western media is entirely useless, consisting of fake news reports of Russian atrocities, casualties, defeats, and endless meaningless threats from impotent Western ‘leaders.’
Russell Bentley, a salt of the earth American born in Texas in 1960 is refreshingly candid about his experiences behind the lines in the war-torn Donbass region of US-Occupied Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin brings to the end what he has warned us about at least for the last 15 years: that he will not tolerate American troops and missiles at his border. And we ignored it, and he eventually began to act.
We’re only four days into Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, and yet the propaganda cogs are whirring fast as lightning, churning out ‘news’, opinion and content grist for the media mill. How true the advice of Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821): ‘He who his first hits twice.’ Now the sweet irony: Russia has done precisely what Germany did in June 1941. Back then, to frustrate a Soviet attack on Germany and the Reich’s allies to the East, Germany pre-emptively struck the American-sponsored Soviet Union. The USSR had been given the go-ahead to overwhelm Europe by Roosevelt’s blank cheque (Lend-Lease Plan).
