Liverpool born poet and writer Michael Walsh traces his Liverpool roots back to 1865. This was the year his Irish great-grandmother arrived in the Second City of Empire. His parents were born at the turn of what was to become the most tumultuous century in history. Michael's father, Patrick, fought in three major conflicts before reaching his fortieth birthday. His mother, Kathleen, was a former nun turned gun-running renegade.
On leaving school at 15 years of age, Michael spent 12 weeks at the Merchant Navy School for Sailors in Sharpness, Gloucestershire. During his years at sea, he was to visit and work in over 60 countries.
The journalist and broadcaster since provided articles and columns for numerous magazines and international news media. In 2011 he was awarded Writer of the Year by the publishers of Euro Weekly News, Europe's highest-circulation newspaper of its kind. He has authored, edited and ghosted over 70 book titles.

The legend of the Russian Army Gyurza (Chechnya) has been sent to Donbas by General Surovikin, dubbed General Armageddon by his troops. As a consequence, up to 1,000 Ukrainian troops are lost every day. (Videos)
Genius is doubly gratifying when months if not years after making such a prediction it is offered as a solution to the Ukrainian conflict. It is doubly gratifying because Putin now offers a carbon copy of what Adolf Hitler offered Ukraine in 1941: independence guaranteed by the German Reich to act as a buffer state between Bolshevik Occupied Russia and Europe.
The chairman of the International Public Tribunal for the Crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis and Their Accomplices, a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Maxim Grigoriev, provided RT with undeniable proof and evidence from residents of Lisichansk about how in the spring of 2022 security forces subordinate to Kyiv shot at civilians for the sake of filming propaganda materials.
In American-occupied Germany, media-blitzed show trials still take place against those people who it is alleged committed crimes during ‘Nazism’. Those arrested and dragged before the courts are invariably those who were teenage conscripts at the time.
‘A long line of such incidents parades before my mind: the story of our Marines firing on unarmed Japanese survivors who swam ashore on the beach at Midway. The accounts of our machine-gunning prisoners on a Hollandia airstrip; of the Australians pushing captured Japanese soldiers out of transport planes which were taking them south over the New Guinea mountains (the Aussies reported them as committing hara-kiri or ‘resisting’‘).
Never in history has writing a book, a novel or a life story been easier. At no time has the demand for books been greater or book publishing easier. ‘A professional writer is an amateur who didn’t quit.’ – Richard Bach.
WITH over 70 books carrying his name on their covers MICHAEL WALSH is Britain and Ireland’s most successful multi-topic book author.
HISTORY AGAIN REPEATS: Following World War II the population of the defeated German Reich as a deliberate allied policy was reduced by 14 million. The grim toll included millions of mostly but not exclusively German males of child-producing age. Prisoners of war, in defiance of the International Cross and Geneva Convention, were held abroad and worked as slaves until 1948 and beyond.
