When a nation is overwhelmed and occupied by enemy forces, the priority is to destroy all evidence of the defeated nation’s past.

German sculptor Arno Breker (1900-1991) was described by French sculptor, painter, and printmaker Aristide Maillol as Germany’s Michelangelo.

Following capitulation by the German armed forces, 90 per cent of the works of art created by this classic sculptor and contemporary sculptors and artistes were destroyed.

The German people, their libraries, art galleries and places of culture were ordered to surrender all artworks, painting, ceramics, ornaments, books and periodicals, paintings and photographs.

A 13-year-old boy was hanged

A 13-year-old boy was hanged after Britain’s army of occupation discovered a painting of Adolf Hitler in his bedroom. All literature and art relating to Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich were collected, confiscated and burned.

Hundreds of thousands of books, every kind of literature in whatever form was confiscated and destroyed. The publication of the confiscated works was forbidden under pain of death.

Mein Kampf (My Struggle)

Copies of Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf, the story of who and why he fought for the German Reich, were destroyed. Publication of the original in English is heavily redacted and as scarce as the Epstein Files.

All and anything published, movies and newsreels, documentaries, books, novels and newspaper articles were allowed.

But only if their contents were considered negative about Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich.

History is the propaganda of the victors

Winston Churchill, Britain’s unelected war premier, gloated that history would exonerate him because he would write the history of World War II. In fact, Churchill was disinclined to write books and anyway, had little time to do so.

The wartime leader’s memoirs were written by sycophant ghostwriters whose names were never revealed. The palace scribes and scribblers took their secrets with them to the graves.

Hidden real history

As recently as the 1980s, it was still possible to purchase looted books, mostly from secondhand bookshops, that told the truth about Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich.

Over the years, these books, essays, and pamphlets were bought using taxpayer-funded government grants. All were methodically destroyed.
