Sweden’s top cop points the finger at foreign gangs operating in Sweden after bombings and murders jump higher: The Liberal Regime Scandinavian country is suffering a unique wave of bloody gang warfare and shootings, Swedish National Police Commissioner Anders Thornberg said on Wednesday, following a week of deadly shootings in the Scandinavian country.
‘There has been an unprecedented number of murders and bombings in Sweden recently,’ Police Commissioner Anders Thornberg stressed at a press conference on Wednesday. ‘Several boys aged between 13 and 15 have been killed, a criminal’s mother was murdered in her home, a young man was shot dead on his way to work in Uppsala,’ the Swedish police chief said. ‘The people who order the murders are often found abroad,’ Thornberg conceded.
There have been several shootings in Sweden this week: four in Uppsala, famous for its university, two of which were fatal, and two in Stockholm, where a 13-year-old boy was killed, according to Hungarian news outlet Magyar Hirlap.
In Sweden, the gang war for control of the arms and drug trade has been going on for years, and Sweden is no stranger to violence from its growing migrant population. The country experienced a record number of shootings and murders in 2022, leading the country to be labelled the most dangerous country in Europe. According to the Swedish police, 90 bombings and 101 attempted bombings were recorded in 2022. As of Aug. 15, 2023, 109 bombings have been recorded in the country this year. Conflicts between criminal gangs have claimed the lives of many innocent people, Thornberg stressed.
‘Citizens are afraid and insecurity is growing. Because of this, we have raised the terror threat level in Sweden,’ the Swedish police chief added. ‘We have arrested several people and confiscated weapons, including in Uppsala, where the situation is very serious,’ Ulf Johansson, a police official in the city 70 kilometres north of the capital, underlined at a press conference on Wednesday.

In 2022, 391 shootings were recorded in Sweden, 62 of which were fatal, compared to 45 people shot dead a year earlier. None of the victims were killed in the 1.30am shooting, but one is fighting for their life in hospital as of Saturday evening.
Campus police and Chesterfield County officers discovered five people suffering from gunshot wounds in the university’s Quad Annexes outside campus dormitories.
At least one of the wounded was later confirmed to be a student.
The shooting was still under investigation later on Saturday and happened as Virginia State’s academic year begins.
Many students completed the university’s ‘New Trojans Experience’ for incoming students hours earlier, where they received university pins and listened to a speech by former NFL quarterback Cam Newton.
Residence halls opened for students a week ago, and classes resume on Monday.

Chaos erupted across the US on Saturday, with three separate mass shootings threatening to snuff out dozens in Virginia, Kentucky and Chicago.
In Kentucky, five people were shot, one fatally, when gunshots rang out in a park near a packed downtown bar district Saturday evening. At least 13 shots sent revelers running for cover, footage posted by a local official showed.
‘My heart is broken. This evening we had a shooting at the park with multiple victims and one fighting for his life,’ ONE Lexington Director Devine Carama wrote.
The shooting took place at roughly 6.45pm at Charles Young Park.
A four-year-old, a 14-year-old and two adults were shot, police said in a subsequent update. All were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Another victim was declared dead at the hospital, a Lexington Police Department spokesperson told the Daily Mail. The spokeswoman said the incident remains under investigation.
Both Carama, the director of the mayor of Lexington’s youth gun violence reduction program, and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear used the incident to call attention to high rates of gun violence.
Meanwhile, a mass shooting was unfolding in Chicago, at around 7.15.pm. It left four injured, two critically, after a car pulled up beside a group walking along a sidewalk in the city’s Gresham neighborhood.
The victims, a 43-year-old man, a 34-year-old man, a 32-year-old woman and a man of unknown age, were all injured, after multiple occupants fired shots out of the windows before driving off. The incident is also under investigation.

No arrests have been made in either incident.
A 19-year-old suspect was arrested Saturday evening, though, for a shooting that occurred at Virginia State University early Saturday and injured five, including a student.
The school, however, previously said in a statement that the shooting involved ‘multiple suspects.’
That shooting remains under investigation as well.
Suspected gunman Camron Harris is not a student and is from Virginia, Chesterfield County Police said in a statement shortly after making the arrest. Neither were four of the people injured.
The victims’ ages ranged from 17 to 23. Their names have not been released. The shooting occurred just after 1.30am and sent the campus into lockdown. One of the five wounded suffered critical injuries.
The park plagued by gunfire in Kentucky, meanwhile, was in the midst of an outdoor concert event slated for six to 8pm, the Lexington Herald Leader first reported.
Gov. Beshear was the first to confirm reports of the shooting, doing so during a speech in downtown Lexington at the Kentucky Democratic Party’s Moving Forward Together at the Hyatt Regency, not far away from the scene. Muslim Screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’ Attacks Cops, ‘Motive Unclear’
The French-language publication Actu 17 reported Monday that “two municipal police officers were injured in a knife attack late Monday afternoon on Rue d’Austerlitz, in the heart of Toulouse (Haute-Garonne). Their attacker—who reportedly made ‘terrorist-related remarks,’ according to the city’s mayor—was arrested at the scene and taken to the hospital. The Toulouse public prosecutor’s office has taken charge of the case.” In other words, it was just another day in Emmanuel Macron’s modern, multicultural France, and after this attack, there was the same ridiculous comic opera aftermath.

Actu 17 notes that “the two municipal police officers exited the vehicle to try to subdue their attacker. ‘The arrest was extremely difficult. They managed to seize his knife, but he had two others on him,’ recounted the deputy in charge of security. According to his information, the individual shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ several times. ‘My feeling is that he was determined to murder our officers,’ the official added. The suspect was finally subdued using pepper spray.”
As bad as all that was, it could easily have been much, much worse. “The outcome could have been far worse. While the two officers sustained only cuts to their arms, ‘the tip of the attacker’s knife struck one of them in the neck, right next to the carotid artery, and his colleague’s bulletproof vest bears the mark of a large gash along the flank,’ detailed Emilion Esnault.” Journalist Amaury Bucco reported that the attacker “clearly aimed to kill, as he reportedly targeted the officers’ throats.”
So we have two salient facts: the attacker screamed “Allah Akbar,” and he tried to slash the officers’ necks. The Qur’an tells Muslims: “When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks” (47:4). And as for “Allah u Akbar,” it is for good reasons that jihad-is so often scream this while trying to kill non-Muslims.
“Allah u Akbar” does not mean “God is great,” although that is the most common way it is translated. While “Allah” is generally translated as “God,” the deity of Islam and the Qur’an is so different from the God of the Bible as to call for different terms. Meanwhile, “Akbar” does indeed mean “greatest,” or more precisely “biggest,” as well as “greater” or “bigger,” and in this case, the most accurate translation of the phrase “Allah u Akbar” would be “Allah is greater.”
That’s certainly what jihad terrorists mean when they scream it out in the midst of their violent acts. They do not just happen to be making a declaration of the greatness of Allah while stabbing or beheading someone. Their shout of “Allah u Akbar” is meant to indicate that Allah is showing himself to be greater precisely in and through the act of violence at hand. While they destroy Christians churches or other religions. Now we use same laws with to combat them. I tell you is just a show off ,even in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Middle East
