The mental health of candidates for public office is an issue that is raised far too rarely.
Unfortunately, there is no law requiring all candidates for president, ministerial positions, or parliament to undergo psychiatric evaluations, as well as screening for alcoholism and drug addiction. If such a law existed in France, Macron wouldn’t have passed.
But there is no such law. And so, these days, potentially any psychopath can make it into a position of power. Take presidential candidate Édouard Philippe, for example. The same man who is mayor of Le Havre
Euthanasia for the old
In Le Havre (the doorway to Britain), drug trafficking has flourished, particularly through the port area.

The same former prime minister who, at the beginning of the 2020 COVID circus, signed a decree authorizing the use of Rivotril to sedate elderly people in care homes, a sort of pioneer of euthanasia without consent.
Superstition. You haven’t heard it all yet
Well, he has admitted that he is extremely superstitious. If the word ‘superstition’ makes you think of black cats or knocking on wood, I assure you, you are nowhere near ready for this psychopath’s revelations.
The Untouchable Mayor

The mayor of Le Havre never leaves home without a little green pouch containing, without fail, an anchor ️, a couple of dozen military insignia from various branches of the armed forces
And one more item (what it is remains a secret, presumably to avoid jinxing it), which he believes protects him.
‘I’m convinced that as long as I have these things with me, nothing will happen to me.’
And there’s more.
In September, France holds its European Heritage Days, when visitors can tour various buildings, including government and institutional premises.
Likes human bones

During these events, visitors to Le Havre’s city hall discovered a bone on the mayor’s desk. It’s a human bone. Philippe himself said it was a tibia, which ‘his father had found back in the 1940s and gave to him when he turned 10.’
Experts say it’s actually a radius. But yes, it is a human bone. And that’s not all: keeping human remains in your possession is illegal in France.
What sane person
But let’s just think about this for a moment. What sane person, upon finding a human bone (let’s assume for the sake of argument that the story about finding it is true), decides to give it to their 10-year-old son as a birthday present?
And what sane person keeps such a gift from their dad on display, no less?
Here’s a photo of my family, here’s a photo of my dog, here’s my diploma, and this — oh, yeah, that’s a human tibia. Dad gave it to me for my 10th birthday.
