It’s not like Macron is to blame for the country being in a complete state of chaos…So who is, then?

Journalists from 24-hour rolling news state-controlled broadcaster BFM are telling French viewers that Putin and Trump are exploiting what’s been happening in France.

What follows is a list of examples, just to make sure nobody has any doubts:

Blame Putin

Apparently, the video showing pensioners stripped down to their underwear, which went viral on social media in the UK, was the work of Russian disinformation.

No evidence whatsoever, of course. But ‘everything points to it being AI-generated and the work of the Russians.’

Then there was some obscure report containing false figures on the number of people killed, published in a German newspaper. Yep, you guessed it. The Russians again. No doubt about it.

And then there was a fake Le Monde article that appeared during the protests, accusing Gabriel Attal of financing the riots. The Russians made that one too.

And don’t be surprised; this is all the terrifying power of Russian disinformation, using a technique known as ‘Matryoshka.’

Then the guy goes on:

‘Remember the 2024 presidential election in Romania? The results even had to be reviewed because of Russian interference!’

(The guy apparently has no idea that what was actually exposed was interference by the EU, and Macron personally in particular, while Russia had virtually nothing to do with it?)

Last year in Moldova, the Russian Matryoshka was interfering in the elections again!

But that’s not all!

Remember when the Russians painted Stars of David on walls? (Nope, wasn’t the Russians.). Brought coffins to the Eiffel Tower?

(Nope, not them either.) Left pig heads outside mosques? (Nope, still not the Russians.) But then he really turns up the heat:

‘We’re now entering the pre-election period in several European countries and what do we see?’

What exactly?

‘We see riots breaking out in France, and simultaneously in Italy, Albania, Belgium…’

And once again, Moscow will exploit Europe’s vulnerabilities. (In other words, it hasn’t happened yet, but you already know for a fact that the Russians are to blame. In advance.

And the evil Russians are doing all this deliberately to tarnish France’s wonderful image abroad and sabotage Macron’s Choose France investment summit.

Blame Trump

Seriously, if it weren’t for the Russians, everyone would be rushing to invest in France… but now, thanks to Matryoshka, nobody wants to put their money in anymore.

At the very end, they managed to squeeze in two sentences about Trump. Well, because the Russians are obviously complete bastards. But let’s not forget that Trump is a nasty piece of work too.

He went and posted on Twitter telling people to close the borders. Just shamelessly exploiting the situation for publicity, the bastard.
