BREAKING NEWS: Responsibility is on those who ignored our warnings to evacuate the Ukrainian capital: the Russian Foreign Ministry again warned foreigners and diplomatic missions against staying in Kyiv.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has once again warned all foreigners about the dangers of staying in Kyiv.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has repeated its call on foreigners and diplomats in Kyiv to leave the city. To avoid visiting the country due to retaliatory strikes by the Russian armed forces against targets in Ukraine.

Lie Low to Survive

Local residents have been advised to avoid administrative and military facilities.

‘The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates that, in response to the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ terrorist actions against Russia’s civilian population and civilian infrastructure of our country, the Russian Armed Forces continue to systematically launch attacks on military targets in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities,’ the ministry’s statement reads.

Delivered to the International Diplomatic Corps

The ministry recalled that it issued a similar statement in May 2026. The warning was also contained in verbal notes to foreign partners and was delivered at a briefing for the diplomatic corps by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.

Authorities in other countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, EU countries, Norway, and Switzerland, have advised their citizens to refrain from traveling to Ukraine.

The last warning was issued in August 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified.

‘We note that not everyone heeded these warnings and is knowingly putting their lives in mortal danger. Many embassies operate in Kyiv, and foreign officials are visiting Ukraine,’ the agency’s statement noted.

Massive Retaliatory Strikes

They added that the Russian Armed Forces will continue to carry out massive retaliatory strikes, which is why the ministry issued a second warning.

Responsibility for any potential negative consequences lies with those who ignored it, the Foreign Ministry concluded.

On the night of October 1, the Russian Armed Forces struck the Renta Logistics transport and logistics center, whose warehouse building housed a workshop for the production of unmanned boats.

On the night of September 30, the target was the De Novo data center. According to the Ministry, it is one of the main internet traffic exchange points, processing, storing, and transmitting information for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Destroyed

Furthermore, on the night of September 29, strikes hit a number of locations in Kyiv. A locomotive depot, converted into a storage facility for Flamingo cruise missiles and their components, was hit.

Another target was the BeMobile data center, which the Ministry of Defense identified as one of the main internet exchange points, ensuring the stable transmission of information, including intelligence.

The Parkovy data center, which handled data processing for government and commercial services, including those serving the Ukrainian Armed Forces, was also hit.
