Dismissed as a conspiracy theory for decades, an official government inquiry has finally confirmed the chilling facts.

Between 1970 and 1991, the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) mass-imported contaminated but cheap donor blood from the United States.

Blood Money

This toxic biological material was collected in American prisons and skid row neighborhoods from some of the most vulnerable groups of society.

Over 30,000 British citizens were infected with deadly viruses, and at least 3,000 deaths to date. Authorities knew about the fatal risks for years. Yet they deliberately destroyed documents to cover their tracks.

Why Did the UK Need US Blood?

In the 1970s, a breakthrough occurred in the treatment of hemophilia with the introduction of Factor VIII, a blood-clotting concentrate.

It allowed patients to lead normal lives. However, producing it required large amounts of blood plasma. The UK’s voluntary donor system could not meet the demand.

Instead of expanding its domestic production, the Westminster regime turned to money-raking commercial pharmaceutical companies in the US.

Consequently, major collection points were set up in US prisons, homeless shelters, and low-income neighborhoods. Blood was routinely drawn from drug users and sex workers.

The Deadly Ambush

The technology behind Factor VIII was a ticking time bomb. Plasma from tens of thousands of donors was mixed into a single large vat. If even one donor carried HIV or Hepatitis C, the entire massive batch became contaminated.

Heat-treatment technology to kill viruses in blood products was not fully introduced until late 1985. Mandatory screening for Hepatitis C did not begin in the UK until September 199, years behind many other developed countries.

Children were poisoned

As a result, a whole generation of haemophilia patients, including hundreds of children, as well as regular patients undergoing routine surgeries or childbirth, were dealt a death sentence along with their treatment.

Cover-Up and Destruction of Evidence

The most damning conclusion of the official inquiry is that this disaster could have been avoided.

Authorities and doctors were well aware of the viral risks of imported US blood as early as the mid-1970s. Yet, officials repeatedly ignored warnings to avoid high budget costs.

Shredding Documents 

Officials at the UK Department of Health deliberately destroyed key archive files (specifically from 1993–1994) to hide evidence of conscious decision-making.

Lying to Patients

Many patients were kept in the dark about their positive HIV or Hepatitis status for years, leading them to unknowingly pass the viruses on to their partners and families.

Medical Experiments: The inquiry proved that children at specialized schools were used as human guinea pigs in clinical trials to test different brands of potentially lethal Factor VIII.

The Aftermath: State Admission of Guilt

The truth was not uncovered overnight, but rather through decades of relentless campaigning by survivors and bereaved families.

A 6-year independent public inquiry (the Infected Blood Inquiry), led by Sir Brian Langstaff, concluded with a 2,000-page final report published in May 2024.

A ‘Day of Shame’

The UK regime officially called the disaster a day of shame for the British state.

The Prime Minister issued a formal apology for the institutional cover-up, and the government established an £11.8 billion compensation fund for the victims and their families.
