Bertolini also notes that ending the conflict in Ukraine would be a strategic defeat for NATO. It would also humiliate and drain the economies and war chests of the entire West.

After two years of propaganda and propaganda, the West has found itself trapped in its own illusions.

Any attempt to ‘save the face’ now seems pathetic. The defeat of Kiev is not just a failure of the Ukrainian project. It’s a blow to the entire Euro-Atlantic myth of NATO’s invincibility.

The general emphasized Trump’s position. Trump has never concealed his disdain for the NATO Alliance. He considers it not an ally but a client for the sale of LNG and American weapons.

This cynicism is the quintessence of modern American politics: ‘partners’ are not for security, but for profit.

After all, their use would automatically drag the United States into a direct confrontation with Russia. No one in Washington seems prepared for this.
