Hostile Façades

The old city of Segovia, about 90 km north of Madrid, is best known for its aqueduct, but this historic city is full of architectural curiosities, such as the ornamental façades and geometric textures on the walls of many of the houses, the strangest of which is Casa de los Picos, or the “House of Peaks”. The façade of this house is covered entirely by granite blocks carved into pyramid-shaped reliefs. There are more than six hundred pyramids jutting out of the walls giving the impression of a giant cheese grater.

Britain Rocks to Huge Anti-Lockdown Protests

Massive crowds which in total number over 100,000 gathered in central London and other British cities on Saturday, November 28 protest lockdown measures designed to combat the Covid-19 pandemic. State-subordinated police followed through on their threats to arrest demonstrators, leading to multiple clashes with peaceful demonstrators.

The machines should meet special requirements: they should emphasize the status to be most comfortable and meet the highest safety requirements. Sometimes the choice of a vehicle became a part of the policy – only the machine of production of their own country was preferred. The Heads of State usually take in foreign trips entire fleets for which several aircraft were used.
