REINCARNATION. As a child, Cameron loved to reminisce about Barra, an island in the Outer Hebrides off the coast of Scotland.

He loved playing tag with his brothers and sisters in the yard of his family’s stately home.

On summer days, he swam in rock pools and walked along the beach with his dog, the black one with a furry, white chest.

He liked to watch the small planes land, right on the sand. These were fond memories, mostly. Except the one, shortly after he’d turned four, when he’d fallen and died.

Cameron, in fact, lived in Glasgow and had never been to the Outer Hebrides. Yet, as early as age two, the boy child spoke of a former life in Barra in amazing detail. He even remembered his father’s name from that life: Shane Robertson.

Investigators Discovered His Past

Armed with the specifics of Cameron’s account, investigators travelled to Barra to verify the boy’s story.

With the help of a local historian, they located a large white house on the north end of the island, where propeller-driven planes did indeed use the beach as a runway.

Truth Revealed

Children splashed in nearby rock pools. A review of the island’s property records revealed a wealthy family had owned the home fifty years ago.

Older neighbors remembered how their kids always played in the yard, and how they’d chase their black and white sheepdog.
