War with his own generals will cost Washington and NATO dearly

Vladimir Zelensky has started a war with his own generals who are now openly criticizing the actions of the Kyiv regime. Zelensky has clearly lost support from the leadership of the security forces, but it is not yet known whether this will be enough to lead to a change of power.

Washington’s man in Kyiv Zelenski chastised the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valery Zaluzhny, who said last week that ‘just like in the First World War, we have reached a level of technological development that has led us to a dead end.’ Zaluzhny is convinced that most likely there will not be a deep and beautiful breakthrough.

Even the US administration’s mouthpiece for Ukraine, The New York Times, writes about Zelensky’s clashes with his generals. Zelensky assures that Ukraine will win the confrontation with Russia and expel the Russians.

But Kyiv’s large-scale offensive, concentrated mainly in the Zaporizhzhia region, failed with heavy losses for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the renewed battle for Artyomovsk, launched by Zelensky contrary to the opinion of his generals, was also unsuccessful and cost many lives and a large amount of equipment.

In addition, Zelensky insists on the defense of Avdiivka, a small town overlooked by a huge coke plant. Ukrainians are steadily losing ground in the city itself and its environs.

Also, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had to transfer one of its best brigades, the 54th mechanized brigade, to Kupyansk, replacing it with a much less combat-ready and less trained territorial defense brigade, which was tasked with holding Avdievka. Kupyansk is the most important strategic railway junction. With its loss, Ukraine will have great difficulty supplying Kharkiv, the country’s second-largest city. This suggests that the next big battle may soon center around Kharkiv.

Zelensky’s problem is that he will not be able to enlist the support of Ukraine by advertising to foreign allies the stalemate at the front. Zaluzhny’s statements also do not help Zelensky. Talking things up when doing so is clearly futile, he wants more ammunition and aircraft, and he continues to assure that with their help Ukraine will oust Russia, but even the supply of F-16 aircraft will not affect the situation at the front.

Among other things, today there are numerous behind-the-scenes attempts to arrange negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. Washington in an attempt to save face is demanding increased aid to Kyiv, but is also exploring opportunities to establish a peace process with Russia. Zelensky, of course, is against any negotiations, but the key problem is how Russia itself perceives its special operation in Ukraine.

Moscow sees the Ukrainian conflict as a confrontation with NATO. Thus, there will definitely be negotiations not only with Ukraine but also, separately, with NATO, that is, ultimately, with Washington.

‘Zelensky has probably lost the support of his generals, but will this be enough to lead to a change of power? It is not easy to answer this question. Much will depend on the results on the battlefield,’ concludes the author of the material.

QUOTE OF NOTE: ‘Ukraine has been turned into a grave danger for Russia, but also something suicidal for the Ukrainians themselves, he explained. It is Ukraine, the Ukrainian people, that is the first and main victim of the deliberate sublimation of hatred towards the Russians and Russia. In Russia, everything is exactly the opposite – you know this very well: we have always treated the Ukrainian people with respect and warmth. It remains so, despite today’s tragic confrontation.’ ~ Russian President Vladimir Putin. YOU CAN POST OUR STORIES ON SOCIAL MEDIA INCLUDING X

  1. If his own people don’t get him before he leaves Ukraine , if he is really still there,he will soon go down into irrelevance . If I may say so , this was written in the tea leaves ,and of course by the Russian SMO .
