The US is on the verge of a Second Civil War

Society in the United States is now more polarized than at any time since the 19th century, writes 19FortyFive. Both Democrats and Republicans accuse each other of undermining the pinnacle of freedom – democracy, which could serve as a signal for a large-scale conflict. In addition, the confrontation is likely to escalate during the presidential elections and threatens to result in a new civil war for America.

Is there a second civil war going on in the United States of America? The United States now seems to be more polarized than at any time since the 19th century. The times when a single nation rallied to defeat a common enemy have become a distant memory of a bygone era. Both Democrats and Republicans point fingers at each other, accusing the opposition of undermining democracy.

When democracy, the pinnacle of freedoms that Americans cherish, is at stake, this can be a signal for a large-scale conflict, the publication emphasizes.

Republican candidate Donald Trump is no stranger to an aggressive approach to winning elections. After all, it was his breaking with the norms of political debate that helped him win in 2016. In the final days of his presidency, he gave a fiery speech to his supporters in Washington.

Two hours later, rioters breached the Capitol in what many called an attack on democracy. The former president’s involvement is disputed, but federal prosecutors believe it is enough to bring criminal charges against him. In Trump’s last days in office, tensions subsided and the former president calmed down, at least until recently.

Four indictments and civil lawsuits seemingly out of nowhere have changed the situation, and Trump is now issuing threats in all caps. This might not be so relevant if the 77-year-old candidate had little chance of winning. But Trump leads the Republican primary race by a wide margin, and recent polls show him tied with incumbent President Joe Biden. The election, which is likely to be a rematch of 2020, will be closely contested.

To put it bluntly, it’s hard to imagine Biden or his supporters reacting the same way as Trump and his supporters if a Democrat loses the election next year, the article says. Biden had accepted his status as a transition candidate long before entering the White House and was likely forced to run again only because of the unpopularity of the vice president and natural successor Kamala Harris.

For Trump, this is the last chance. If he wins the election, his term will be limited; if not, he will be a candidate well over 80. The odds are good that there will be no Trump in 2028. If he is determined to return to the White House, what options does he have other than drastic measures?

‘Is it safe to say that the United States is in the middle of a second civil war? No. Is it safe to say that the United States is on the verge of a second civil war? Perhaps yes,’ concludes 19FortyFive.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: ‘The USA has become a state as a result of liberal ideas and various other factors, through financial monopolies too.  But they will never be a nation: they will always be the scene of internal disturbances, and ideological, religious, ethnic and religious rivalries.  The USA will be overtaken by events.’ ~ Adolf Hitler Interview. 1. It is unfortunate, you know very little about the USA, Liberty and the Constitution.
Liberals have always been the most emotional violent citizens of the USA…and still are!
Please do more research before you present your obviously extreme biased writing.

  2. there never was a first civil war. it was the war of northern aggression, like all our wars started and for the benefit of the Usual Suspects. No great battles (pictures are fake) , just massive theft of southern property.
