Four people were caught on film making the banned gesture at a beer festival in the state of Saxony. Shocked German state police and the state security service (BfV) have launched an investigation into National Socialist era salutes seen in video footage taken at a recent Oktoberfest celebration in the state of Saxony, according to media reports on Monday.
A video that initially surfaced on social media shows three men and a woman dressed in traditional Bavarian attire repeatedly making raised arm salutes while in an Oktoberfest tent. According to the Bild tabloid, one of the men made the gesture as many as 14 times over just 16 seconds.
The incident took place during festivities in a small village in the state of Saxony in eastern Germany, the media reports said. Oktoberfest, the world’s largest beer festival, originated in Bavaria in the 19th century but is now celebrated in other parts of Germany as well.
A Reich-era military march called ‘Erika’, which was used by the Third Reich for propaganda purposes, can be heard playing in the background on the footage (YouTube too). The music itself is not banned in Germany. The video has since gone viral on X (formerly Twitter) and has drawn the attention of the horrified trembling German police.

A regional police office stated on Monday that it had ’secured’ the footage and handed it over to the relevant department. The statement also said that it would have been better if officers had been called directly to the scene, adding that dealing with the issue afterwards ’results in unnecessary delays.’
Under the German Criminal Code, the ’use of symbols of unconstitutional organizations,’ which includes the Aryan salute, is punishable by up to three years behind bars or a fine. The identities of the suspects have not been officially revealed.

A spokesman for the Saxony police, Marcel Malchow, told Bild on Monday that the BfV, which is responsible for investigating cases related to German but not Ukrainian extremist and terrorist activities, would be involved in the probe as well.
The intimidated organizers of the event in Saxony insisted they had nothing to do with the incident. ’We clearly distance ourselves from such visitors, we just want to celebrate Oktoberfest as normal,’ one of them, Matthias Braune, told Bild.

First thank you for your articles – they are excellent. If only the real truth was told. Tried to leave a comment after your article on Globalism but the page would not accept it so here it is instead.
“I wonder if many today really understand Hitler’s fight against the globalists/ Bolsheviks. One just has to still see the metaphors and comparisons on Social media to today’s tyranny by Western govts being apparently the same as the Nazis. . …It appears after extensive research that most of it is lies. The causes of WW2 lay firmly in the hands of the UK France and Russia and later the US who wanted to force Germany into war to destroy her like they did in WW1….and not Hitler. And the final solution for the Jews who had taken hold of the Germans was not as we were told. Sure atrocities happened that is the nature of the war on both sides More in fact far more were committed by the Allies both during and especially after the war. Examples are the genocidal bombings of innocent civilians and murder of at least 1 to 2 million unarmed and defenceless and surrendered German soldiers and disappearance of approx. 2m more. The forced expulsion of Germans from their homelands where many hundreds of thousands if not millions also perished. And the purposeful starvation of the German pop. Yes, the forced labour camps existed but absolutely no so-called Holocaust. The camps were taken over by the Allies where many German soldiers and civilians were tortured not to mention the rape and pillage of others. The Nuremberg trials were a farce most only testifying after torture. The Allies were hypocrites and in fact, the ones who should have been accused of war crimes. (for example, the Morgenthau Plan which was officially stopped but unofficially carried out, especially by the likes of Eisenhower – a true war criminal) Then there has been the planned brainwashing of not only the Germans but the world. See Bletchley Park. . Just like now, we have been lied to. It’s time open discussions were held to clarify this but unfortunately, we are allowed to see only one side. Why hide it if it could be the truth? The truth needs to be told for the millions who suffered on both sides and the truly guilty ones identified. So when one uses Nazis as a comparison for evil or tyranny I hope people will think first if it is correct to use that comparison and especially as the mainstream still pushes the controlled narrative. Something to think about if we want to live in a new world of truth…..”
