Profiteering American military-industrial complex bought cross-party support in a proxy war against Russia

The market profits of the largest US arms companies have grown significantly in the past year due to their role in supplying Ukraine, according to Fox News. Politicians in Washington are consumed by the confrontation with Moscow and reject calls for diplomacy, hypocritically stating their concern for the fate of the Ukrainian population.

The military-industrial complex has criminalized Afghanistan and Iraq during the wars. But this was not enough, and attention was shifted from the fight against terrorism to new ‘cold’ and ‘hot’ conflicts.

This year has been a fabulous Lottery Win year for our military-industrial complex, thanks to the hawkish foreign policy of Washington’s permanent bureaucrats. Especially in Ukraine.

Northrop Grumman is up 41 percent this year, Lockheed Martin up 37 percent and Raytheon up 16 percent. At the same time, the S&P 500 lost 20 percent and the Nasdaq lost 34 percent. Therefore, the military-industrial complex, ours or Russian, German or Japanese, anyone has a vested interest in being constantly at war.

They all make money. The more income, the more power and influence in the circles of politicians and elites. Meanwhile, the needs of ordinary citizens here in the States, as in all other countries of the world, are neglected.

Their resources are being sucked clean. Joining us is Aaron Mate, Grayzone journalist. Aaron, you’ve done a wonderful job of bringing to light the truth about the cost of war, which, as you know, is often measured only in terms of the death toll or the fact that we’re on the ground. But there is another ‘price of war’, less obvious, affecting people. Aaron Mate, video.
