Black Lives Matter claims it fights for the rights of black people, with the movement’s activity intensifying following George Floyd’s death during a police intervention in Minneapolis in 2020.

A hero was made out of a man who had a long history of severe trouble with the law. Yet, he was buried in a golden coffin with the highest honours in scenes reminiscent of state funeral with liberal media eulogising over the dead druggie and porn-peddler.

It might be better to be thankful for the removal of a thug who hardly a reformed character would have accumulated a chain of mass misery in the slug like slime trail.

Soon after his funeral, there was the ugly spectacle of ‘fight’ for the rights for Black people taking off, again given impetus by liberal media university-bred hacks. Immediately it became a new on-message fashion to force sports contestants to take the knee in a cringing display of obsequious fawning.

Football players have been kneeling in solidarity with BLM since July 2020. Kneeling has also become ‘trendy’ prior to the matches versus the English national team.

This issue has forcefully made its way into football’s European Championship. Even before the tournament, it has become a matter of interest which teams would take the knee in tribute to BLM, which is openly anti-White.

‘Germany vs. England. A match between pathologies,’ wrote one Twitter user.

Introducing politics to football stadiums has displeased and even infuriated many fans. Booing the BLM gesture was frowned upon by again on-message hacks and fawning football managers.

When they began to boo football players who were kneeling, one of the stadiums came up with the idea to drown out the booing with loud music, which must have looked great on live television.

There is also no lack of support for the LGBT movement during Euro 2020. This manifests itself mainly through advertisements which are shown on the banners surrounding the football pitch.

History shows, however, that the voice of football fans is hard to silence, and they are increasingly making their voice heard about what many views as a negative development. Can the lucrative sports ‘industry’ survive public antipathy?

There was also no lack of support for the LGBT movement during Euro 2020. This manifests itself mainly through advertisements which are shown on the banners surrounding the football pitch. Fans pointed out that many sponsors decided to use rainbow colours for their ads. Will this attract new customers to these companies? That’s yet to be seen, but the whole operation also has many opponents.

Some football players have also decided to openly support LGBT, such as the team captains of both Germany and England wearing rainbow-colored armbands during the match.

All that remains is the following question: Is sport or political pandering the most important point of the European Championship? Where is this whole situation heading?

Club Gazeta Polska wrote on portal Albicla, ‘If this continues, then football team captains with rainbow armbands will soon interrupt matches and demand expressions of self-criticism before the audience from their teammates. Basic party organizations will be established and the coach or captain will be the secretary.’

Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that. It would be for the best if the football European Championship stuck with sport and kept the politics and ideology off the field.
