MICHAEL WALSH ANALYSIS. If you want to see the future, you must first see the past. If you want to read tomorrow’s headlines, read them here and now.
The alliance of self-styled democracies led by the imploding Washington DC has already entered a stage of failure suffered by Russians and Ukrainians during the collapse of the Soviet Union (1985-1991).
From 1985, the domino effect of 15 Soviet Republics opting for independence commenced. The process accelerated from November 1989 when the Berlin Wall crumbled.
What Wall Street creates it can and will destroy:

The Washington-managed Cold War on the USSR (1948-1989) ended in 1991. Vulture capitalists of Western corporations descended to pick the bones of prostrate Russia as happened to the defeated Reich following World War II.
The Russian Soul
What happened during 1991-1999 still scars and embitters the Russian soul. The state stopped functioning. Jobs, savings and pensions disappeared overnight.
There was massive widespread unemployment. Once well-off Russians sold whatever they had on street markets. The rest starved and endured a hand-to-mouth existence; families pulled together just to survive.
The Russian economy tanked

The shops were empty, and suicides were commonplace. In an anarchic oligarch-ruled banana republic, Russians barely scraped by. The entrails of their nation were scavenged by international oligarchs, few of whom had any connection to Russia.
In 1988, the duped (by the West) Mikhail Gorbachev invited Western trade delegations to help better manage the transitioning economy.
Russia’s Saviour
In effect, the Soviet President opened the chicken coop to the fox. Then, from 1999, the new Russian president, Vladimir Putin, drove the Western Alliance fox out of the Russian hen house.
And so began a very real Cold War. America and the so-called democracies wanted revenge. They wanted another harmless and bankrupt Russia willing to sell its resources to the West for a song.

Not so fast
On this occasion, Russian patriot Putin holds all the winning cards. The Western Alliance led by Washington, DC like a bull with a ring through its nostrils, has overplayed their hand.
Backfiring Sanctions
Sanctions not only failed; they have spectacularly backfired. Instead of wrecking the Russian economy they bankrupted Western economies.
The West sought to isolate Russia, but Russia and its more friendly neighbors struck back and isolated the West. From Ukraine to Israel, Washington and their Brussels lapdog backed the wrong horse.
The Western Alliance sought to prevent Russian trade. But it is the West’s trade which now has to be diverted around the South African Cape whilst being deprived of the cost-saving, quick-delivery Northern Sea Route.

Come to think of it
Washington and the Western Alliance have managed to screw up everything: immigration, crime, public morality, economic castration, healthcare COVID-19), everything.
The Western Alliance’s hybrid war on Putin’s Russia resembles a tank wreck on the Donbas Eastern Front.
Over half the population have fled their country; 17 million refugees now live in Russia and 7 million to Europe and elsewhere. It is estimated that 950,000 Ukrainians have died for a war the aim of which was to weaken Russia and ready the nation for the coup de grace
Bankrupted the West

Today, the arsenals (and banks) of the luckless West have been emptied into Ukraine, leaving the Western Alliance defenseless.
The Western Alliance’s Washington ‘sugar daddy’ can no longer service its $36 trillion debt. At the fuel stations queues, you will have plenty of time to think how you’re going to find €50 for a kilo of potatoes.
History Repeats:
Today, EU nations like Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia and Serbia prepare to switch their alliance from Washington and Brussels to Moscow. They are watched with interest by pragmatic nationalists in France, the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany. Some EU regimes have yet to see the writing on the wall – they will.
Unfortunately, the collapsing Western Alliance abandoned by Washington WC (sic) doesn’t have a saviour like Putin. Let readers know what you think

I think you’re right, once again… The blinding truth :

Salutary solution : | Today, EU nations like Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia and Serbia prepare to switch their alliance from Washington and Brussels to Moscow. Russia now has the best land based military in the world after four years of sharpening up?
The Long March is why the West is in decline.
Remember the hey ho Western Civ has got to go chants on Marxist EDU campuses from the late 1980s?

Under our present system of war is a money maker and, as General Smedley Butler once said, it’s also a racket. The present public has nothing learned from the past. Nada! If you’re an American, read the following, and then ask yourself if you’re still willing to go over to the middle east and Ukraine and get killed in order to support the utterly corrupt system of never ending warfare.
RUSSIA BOLSTERS IRAN’S MISSILE & DRONE SUPPLY WITH HELP FROM AMERICAN COMPANIES IN RUSSIA. THERE ARE 600+ MEMBERS IN THE ‘AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN RUSSIA’.
Russia is shipping drone components, ammunition, TNT explosives, and related materials to Iran across the Caspian Sea to help replenish stockpiles depleted by U.S. and Israeli airstrikes.
This comes from an NBC News exclusive (published around August 17–18, 2026), based on a European government document and verified by a Western official. More than two dozen Russian ships—many under U.S. and European sanctions and linked to the company MG-FLOT—have traveled to Iran’s port of Amirabad. Satellite imagery analysis has also suggested possible components usable in ballistic missile production.
This marks a notable reversal in the arms flow. Since 2022, Iran has supplied Russia with large numbers of Shahed-type one-way attack drones (and related technology) for use in Ukraine. Russia localized and upgraded production (e.g., Geran variants with improved engines, navigation, anti-jamming, and payloads) at facilities such as those in Tatarstan/Yelabuga.
Iran’s domestic production capacity for drones, missiles, and related items appears degraded by the strikes, according to analysts (including a former CIA analyst cited in reporting). The Russian deliveries of components and explosives are seen as evidence of that degradation and of deepening Moscow-Tehran military ties.
– Earlier in 2026, reports indicated Russia had already begun or planned transfers of upgraded drones ( based on Iranian designs refined in Ukraine ), intelligence/targeting support, and other aid. Separate deals have covered items such as Verba man-portable air-defense systems and Mi-28 attack helicopters.
The Caspian Sea route ( sometimes called a “Caspian Express” ) allows relatively low-visibility transfers between the two countries, bypassing some maritime pressure elsewhere. Reporting does not detail exact volumes or the full scale of reconstitution of Iran’s arsenal. Official Russian and Iranian responses have not publicly confirmed the latest shipments in the available coverage.
This development underscores the evolving, mutually supportive Russia-Iran partnership amid ongoing conflicts. The winners as has been in the past are the financiers and globalist owners of the ‘Military Industrial Complex’. And let’s not forget, the UN is not the peoples friend. The UN is the the former ‘League of Nations’ debunked then resurrected in 1944. Stop dying for the 1%.
