IMMORTAL BELOVED

IMMORTAL BELOVED

.

Esmeralda, sweet and kind,

Devoted you shall be,

Faithful unto very last,

I give my heart to thee.

Esmeralda wears my heart,

That it shall pirouette,

Upon your bodice made of lace,

Will dance my silhouette.

.

Serendipity, be my life,

My ever-beating heart;

May love we share be ever true,

And never torn apart;

Serendipity, shadow me,

Immortal ever bride;

So, I may live and know through you,

Such love that never dies.

.

Magdalena, Magdalena,

Love lies at your feet,

Wherever they may take you,

Be sure our hearts shall meet;

Magdalena, be my bride,

Ever true and by my side;

If heart pain ever be your foe,

My love is balm where’re you go.

.

Pandora, timeless gift to man,

When gown undone sets free,

Then as the burr holds tight the burr,

Your love holds tight to me;

Pandora, open up your box,

Reveal your priceless gifts,

That true love we endure for life,

Is never sand that shifts.

.

Jezebel, you faithless fool,

When I would pass your way,

You always struck in evening,

But never break of day.

For you are wanton, feign and cruel,

Your lips and love a constant duel,

Wherever broken hearts shall go.

Just bitter-sweet rejection knows,

.

Dalilah, you have cheated me,

You’re something of the night;

But unlike stars you’ll never be,

A shaft of silver light.

Dalilah, what must twist your heart,

To tear the faithful love,

To reach and snap the olive branch,

In the beak of a soaring dove.

.

Serendipity, be my life,

my ever-beating heart;

May love we share be ever true,

And never torn apart;

Serendipity, shadow me,

Forever be my bride;

So, I may live and know through you,

That true love never dies.
