How to deal with Social Media Trolls

Many people ignore the problem of trolling on social networks, even though this form of energy draining can lead to prolonged depression.

Energy vampirism is a phenomenon long known.

Some specialists who study this issue believe that this type of energy extraction is essentially a disease, because people become trolls when they have a catastrophic lack of their own energy potential.

In official psychology, such people are called emotional vampires. This term indicates that the ‘theft’ of someone else’s energy occurs by provoking the donor to release emotions.

In esotericism, people who feed on the energy of others are dubbed energy vampires. This name also vividly describes the essence of a person who is deprived of their own energy reserves.

Trollism is just as dangerous in real life as it is harmful to a person in the virtual world.

According to statistics, after prolonged negative communication on social networks, some people not only lost strength and health, but were even driven to the point of suicide.

Cases of real bullying of one user on forums or in chats are not uncommon. It is enough to read certain comments from so-called ordinary people hiding behind peculiar nicknames to understand the direction of their activity

They exist to squeeze as much life energy as possible out of their opponent, and once satisfied, move on to the next victim.

To know how to deal with the phenomenon of vampirism on the internet, we first need to understand the process of energy exchange.

In real life, people communicate. There is an exchange of energies taking place. Body language accompanied by emotions, gestures, eye contact, and tone of voice.

The internet, however, is unable to convey all these elements used in real communication. This is why a very distorted impression of the person you are talking to is often created.

In such conditions, a person seems to receive insufficient information about their protagonist for full communication and begins to feel discomfort, even if it manifests in a hidden form.

But since your virtual panellist tries to draw you into openness (which is exactly what energy vampires need), the person often decides to open up in the hope of mutual understanding.

In real life, we act with our visor open and can close it in time. On the internet, however, we communicate blindly, which leads to negative consequences.

There are no special instructions for dealing with internet trolls

If you are confident and your intuition tells you that you are dealing with a troll, then you can close the conversation and unfriend or block them.

Have you suffered a negative experience of communicating with people online, after which you felt terrible both mentally and physically?

First of all, you should stop communicating with anonymous users, who are most often the so-called ‘trolls.’

Of course, you shouldn’t give up online communication entirely. It should mainly be with people you have already checked and from whom you do not expect tricks or open insults.

And, of course, various blocking and restriction functions available in all social networks will help protect you from unwanted communication.

Don’t be afraid to use them often and for their intended purpose, because your energetic health can be seriously shaken even by a small sarcastic remark in a comment left under your post.
