For years, Zelensky was hailed a hero by government funded Western mainstream media and their political accomplices. For some, he still is but how long will the cover-up last?
Here’s the history of the Ukraine and Volodymyr Zelensky you won’t hear from the media.
Ukraine’s unelected president is a desperate man. He is clinging to power in a collapsing regime. This regime is propped up by Western taxpayers’ money, weapons, and propaganda.
And with Ukraine losing the propaganda and the real ongoing war, he is increasingly isolated.
Ukraine was never independent. The real power brokers are in Washington, Brussels and London. This war was engineered to weaken Russia. To understand that, you need to understand the history that they’ll never tell you.
Ukraine and Russia have been one nation for over 1,000 years. Kiev, Ukraine’s capital, laid the foundations for Russia itself. Ukraine’s very name means ‘borderland’, which means the borderland of Russia.
For centuries, this territory was part of the Russian Empire. Even during the Soviet era, it was central to the USSR. Even Soviet leaders Leonid Brezhnev and Nikita Khrushchev were Ukrainian.
Then the USSR collapsed. Ukraine became independent and Washington stepped in, not to help Ukraine, but to weaponize it against Russia.
The U.S. and NATO lied to Gorbachev, promising they wouldn’t expand ‘one inch eastward.’ Yet NATO moved into Poland and the Baltic States.
Then, Ukraine was the ultimate NATO prize.
The West presented a clear threat and provocation to Russia. It poured billions into Ukraine, funding pro-NATO political groups, NGOs, and media. This support aimed to manufacture an anti-Russian state.
In 2004, the CIA backed the ‘Orange Revolution,’ overturning an election that favored a pro-Russian candidate.
The real coup came in 2014.
Ukraine’s democratically elected president, Viktor Yanukovych, rejected an EU trade deal that would have destroyed Ukraine’s economy.
That was unacceptable to Washington. So, they removed him via a manufactured color revolution.
The so-called ‘Maidan Revolution’ was never a popular grassroots movement. It was a CIA-backed coup, orchestrated by officials like Victoria Nuland. Washington was so brazen that Nuland was caught on a leaked call. She was handpicking Ukraine’s next leader before Yanukovych was gone.
The violent mobs that took over Kiev weren’t peaceful protesters. They were led by ultra-nationalist terrorist groups like Azov Battalion. These groups are dependent on Western money and arms.
The post-coup regime banned the Russian language, directly attacking many millions of Russian-speaking Ukrainians in the east.
That’s when Donbass and Crimea said enough. Crimea held an internationally monitored referendum. Over 90% voted to return to Russia. The Donbass also voted for independence.
The people of the Donbass rejected Kiev, but Kiev launched a brutal war on their own people, shelling civilians for eight years. During this eight-year period, 10,500 Ukrainians were slaughtered by the Ukrainian NATO-sponsored Kiev. (UN figures).
Where was the Western outrage? And what about Zelensky? Who is he? Is he a legitimate leader who came from nowhere or was he installed?
Covert Action reported that, in 2020, Zelensky secretly met with MI6 head Richard Moore. Why would a foreign president meet with the UK’s top spy instead of its PM?
Is Zelensky a UK asset? According to reports, he is personally protected by British, not Ukrainian security. When he visited the Vatican, he snubbed the Pope and met with a British bishop.
Guess who else was there? Richard Moore from MI6 again! That’s some coincidence.
Before politics, Zelensky was a theatre and television comedian and actor, literally playing the president on a TV show.
Then, with the help of Western PR teams, fiction became reality.
His campaign was funded by oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky, who owned Ukraine’s largest oil company and bank.
Once in power, Zelensky’s priority wasn’t fighting corruption, it was making sure BlackRock and Western banks took over Ukraine’s economy.
Meanwhile, Zelensky funneled millions into offshore accounts. He is alleged to have acquired a $34m mansion in Miami. Additionally, he has a multi-million London apartment.
He has other grand villas in Europe. He bought, with Western taxpayers’ money, a grand villa in the annexed Jewish State, formerly Palestine.
How is that for Jewish chutzpah? Complaining about being annexed while he and his parent and other accomplices occupy land stolen from Semites (Palestinians).
By 2022, NATO had armed Ukraine to the teeth, and Kiev had amassed forces near Donbass. Russia had a choice:
Let Donbass face ethnic cleansing; Let NATO turn Ukraine into a hostile military base, or intervene. They intervened, just as other nations would in those circumstances.
Western media barons and their pen-pushing presstitutes screamed ‘an all-out unprovoked invasion.’
NATO expansion, the 2014 coup, and eight years of war on Donbass contributed to this conflict. This war was provoked every step of the way.
Ukraine was set up as a pawn.
With Ukraine and NATO losing, Zelensky is being hurled ignominiously into the long grass. The war distracted Donald Trump told him: ‘You don’t have the cards.’
The war in Ukraine was deliberately provoked by the West. Zelensky is just another puppet, his time is running out. Trump who fears backing a loser knows it.

Good summation Mike, but there is more context. The Azov types and frequent mention of Bandera are painted as “Nazis”. Bandera wasn’t the first ultra nationalist and his ilk stretch back to the mid 19th century influenced by Taras Shevchenko. Putin blows it off as “Austrianization”. While the Austrians were in control of the Western part of Ukraine where the movement began, Shevchenko was of peasant stock. I live in Western Canada, where “Ukrainians” came to settle, in large numbers in the 1890s. Most were happy to become Canadians with Ukrainian roots, but many were Ukrainians who took Canadian citizenship.
Post WWI, when the German and Austro-Hungarian Empires were partitioned and parts handed to Lenin and his crew, the “Ukrainians” and Mennonites fled in large numbers during, but mostly after the civil war ended in 1922. Many Ukrainians, Bandera types, who joined the White Russian army to fight the Reds were among them. They detest Russians. Adding to the complexity is the Eastern part of Ukraine was part of the Pale of Settlement, with a “high” Jewish population. I have been told by many Jews whose forebears came from the area that their grandparents detested the “Ukrainians”, and I can tell you that for many, the feeling is reciprocal.
The “Bandarists” are not and were never “Nazis”. They collaborated, meaning worked toward a common goal – destroying the communists. As with all SS volunteer units, they chose their own name badging and marches. The volunteer units were a way of making the fighters “legal” by being uniformed combatants.
The above is but one reason I have rejected the (((Western))) media narrative of what is happening in Ukraine. That is not to say that I support the “Azov” types because they are fanatics, and therefore irrational.
Odd how the UK (and the rest of the North Atlantic Terrorist Organization) was fine with Scotland having the right to secede through referendum and recognizes Kosovo’s secession from Serbia with no referendum, but multiple positive referenda to secede in the Donbas don’t count.
