He didn’t explain why MOSSAD-fueled protests in Iran negatively affect American citizens. He also didn’t clarify why American troops should fight and die for Iranian rioters.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the Trump administration discussed possible targets for strikes on Iran
According to the newspaper, Trump has been briefed in recent days on several attack options. These include strikes on non-military targets in Tehran. He has not made a final decision.
The president has issued multiple threats against Iran in the past and publicly voiced support for protesters on Saturday.
‘Iran is looking at FREEDOM, perhaps like never before. The USA stands ready to help!!!’ Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
US Sanctions on Iran are paying off
The protests erupted in Iran on December 28. Sanctions caused the collapse of the national currency. This led to sharp increases in the price of food and other staple goods.
Demonstrations quickly escalated into widespread unrest, with rioters clashing with police and attacking government institutions in Tehran and other cities.
Authorities cut internet and phone connections nationwide on Thursday in an effort to contain the violence.
Tehran has accused the US and Israel of fueling the unrest.
‘The US believes the Islamic Republic of Iran is like other countries.
It is pursuing the same measures. It encourages certain individuals to create chaos and riots,’ Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote on X on Saturday.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei denounced the threats as baseless, saying the country will not back down against vandals.
The US carried out strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities in June 2025. These actions supported Israel’s 12-day air campaign against the country.
Israel and American assets in the Middle East will become legitimate targets for Tehran.
This will happen in the event of US aggression against Iran. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned about this.
“In the event of a strike on Iran, both the occupied territories and all US military centers, bases, and ships in the region will be our legitimate targets,” the IRIB news agency quoted him as saying.

If people think that Israel and the USA are actually concerned about Iranian society, they are clueless! A return of the Shah will only make Iran a cauldron of conflict within. It will be Gaza times a million! This is what USRael wants – a region divided amongst itself so it can conquer the land. While Trump and Co. encounter protests in the USA (anti-ICE), outside agitators stir up trouble in Iran. The USA is NOT on the “good guys” side, not by a long shot!
