Cambridgeshire Police shared more details following the Huntingdon train stabbing suspects and victims incident.

In a statement to The Sun, a police spokesperson said they were called at 7.39 pm after reports of multiple stabbings on a train. Armed officers responded, and the train was stopped at Huntingdon station, where two men were arrested.

Multiple people were stabbed on a train near Cambridge in central England on Saturday, police said. Two suspects have been detained.

Ambulances and armed units were dispatched to the scene around 7:40 pm local time.

‘Armed officers attended, and the train was stopped at Huntingdon, where two men were arrested. Several people have been taken to the hospital,’ Cambridgeshire Police said.

Videos posted on social media showed a heavy police presence at the train station.

A witness told Sky News he saw ’extremely bloodied’ passengers fleeing from the suspects. The witness added that one passenger shouted, ’They’ve got a knife.’
