Russia’s Doomsday Weapon says Go Ahead and Make my Day ~ VIDEO

BREAKING NEWS OCTOBER 29: Russia has successfully tested the Poseidon nuclear-powered underwater drone, a weapon President Vladimir Putin claims has unmatched destructive capabilities.

Here’s what’s known about the Poseidon system:

•       Poseidon is a nuclear-powered, self-directed underwater drone; essentially an aircraft-speed torpedo with drone-like capabilities.

•       It’s designed to carry nuclear warheads and operate independently over long distances underwater.

•       NATO refers to it as Kanyon. The Poseidon has been dubbed a ‘doomsday weapon’ due to its potential impact.

On October 28, 2025, Russia conducted a successful test of Poseidon, launching it from a submarine and activating its nuclear power unit.

•       Putin described the test as a ‘huge success’, emphasising that Poseidon’s power exceeds even Russia’s Sarmat intercontinental missile (also known as Satan II).

•       The drone is unstoppable, capable of traveling faster than conventional submarines and reaching any continent.

Strategic Capabilities

•       Poseidon is designed to trigger radioactive ocean swells, potentially rendering coastal cities uninhabitable.

•       Its autonomous nature allows it to operate without human intervention, making it difficult to intercept.

The weapon is part of Russia’s broader strategy to enhance its nuclear deterrence and showcase technological superiority.

Technical Specs (Reported)

•       Length: ~20 meters

•       Diameter: ~1.8 meters

•       Weight: ~100 tons

While many technical details remain classified, Poseidon represents a significant leap in underwater nuclear weaponry.

Its development signals Russia’s intent to diversify its strategic arsenal and challenge conventional defense systems.

The head of state paid special attention to new Russian weapons. Specifically, he reported on the successful testing of the Poseidon unmanned underwater vehicle with a nuclear propulsion system.

The Russian leader called the test a huge success. ‘For the first time, we managed not only to launch it from a submarine using its booster motor, but also to start the nuclear power plant, where the vehicle operated for a certain period of time,’ he noted.

According to the leader, Poseidon’s power significantly exceeds that of even Russia’s most advanced intercontinental-range missile, the Sarmat.

The Sarmat, in turn, has no analogues in the world and will soon enter combat service with the Russian Armed Forces.

‘But the Poseidon is significantly more powerful than the Sarmat. Furthermore, this unmanned aerial vehicle has no comparable speed or depth of travel anywhere in the world, and is unlikely to appear anytime soon, and there are no existing interception methods,’ Putin said.

The Supreme Commander-in-Chief also recalled the recent tests of the newest unlimited-range nuclear-powered missile, the Burevestnik.

According to him, the Burevestnik propulsion system is comparable in power to a nuclear submarine reactor, but is a thousand times smaller. Moreover, it can be launched in a matter of minutes or seconds.

A military analyst explained the advantages of the Poseidon apparatus.

Military expert Yuri Knutov spoke with RT about the advantages of the Poseidon apparatus.

‘Basically, Poseidon is a deep-sea vehicle, essentially an underwater drone.

It has a nuclear power plant on board, which allows it to cover long distances.

Furthermore, it can carry various warheads, including nuclear ones. When approaching its target, it can travel at a depth of 1 km and reach a speed of approximately 200 km/h.

But its main purpose is to combat aircraft carrier strike groups and strike naval bases,’ Knutov emphasized.

According to him, if it hits the coast, it could cause a tsunami that could rise several tens of kilometers.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia had tested the Poseidon nuclear-powered underwater vehicle on October 28.

On October 26, during a visit to the command post of the joint group of forces, Putin announced that the Burevestnik tests had been completed and ordered preparations for the infrastructure to deploy the missile. You can and should share this story on social media: TELL US WHAT YOU THINK

  1. The downside is that it would have to navigate the Thames to get at the (((root))) of the problem. On the the side of the ocean New (((Amsterdam))) and the (((occupied))) District of Criminals would be a great start.
