Questions that can have only one answer that doesn’t fit government spin are never asked by journalists. Often as in this story, the wording of government replies to a question is intended to be unclear and couched in terms 99 per cent of even educated Britons are unfamiliar with.
Literally, just a few days ago, a study was published that is essentially both sensational and self-evident to those who understand something at all. If these and similar disclosures do not bring to an end government repression then clearly their priority s not saving lives but destroying our lives.
