According to the spokeswoman of the Podlaskie Border Guard Unit (POSG), major Katarzyna Zdanowicz, Polish Border Guard officers detained 349 illegal migrants on the Polish-Belarusian border between Friday and Sunday. The majority of them were Iraqi and Afghan citizens.

Head of Italian League Matteo Salvini called on the Italian government not to allow migrants to land in Italy. Hundreds of illegal migrants were again landed by NGO ships over the weekend.
