When on December 12, MV Mutambala, a ferry operating on Lake Tanganyika sank in a storm there was little news coverage. The disaster claimed the lives of up to 150 passengers, mostly women and children. Strong winds and overloading are said to be the cause of the tragedy. It is not uncommon for ships operating on Lake Tanganyika to sink, usually for the same reasons.
A car parade in support of Russia was held in Cologne on Sunday, according to the German magazine Focus. At first, about 150 motorcyclists took part in it, including from the Night Wolves biker club. After that, several hundred cars with Russian flags drove through the streets of the city. According to journalists, over a thousand people took part in the action.
Napoleon Bonaparte and Adolf Hitler had much in common. The first was Italian yet he liberated and led the French nation. The latter was of Austrian birth but freed and championed the German people. On March 8, a top German court in Cologne ruled that the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party could be labelled a ‘suspected threat’ to Germany’s constitution. The verdict is arguably one of the most important court decisions in modern German history, effectively marking a major turning point in the country’s democracy. With the decision, the court effectively cancelled an entire political party with thousands of members and millions of votes from the political map.
The German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is in despair. As the Nord Stream 2 project is buried, fishing and agriculture are suffering from high energy prices.
In Memory of May 1st 1945

‘In Memory of May 1st, 1945’ is a poem of mourning and hope: mourning for Adolf Hitler, who self-martyred on 30 April 1945; hope for Germany, for National Socialism, and for the Aryan race, all of which lived on to the next day. The poem subtly emphasizes hope over mourning by commemorating not the day of Hitler’s death, but the day after.
Minister of Climate and Environment, Anna Moskwa clearly has zero comprehension of geopolitics. She has come out and said that the European Union should penalize countries that use roubles to pay for Russian gas. In response to Moscow’s decision to cut off supplies to Poland and Bulgaria over their refusal to do so.
The Engine Room of European Union Economies admits a Russian Victory as Germany blinks first. Humbled the word is out, ‘the political and economic isolation of the Russian Federation in the long term is impossible, the prosperity of the European Union, including Germany, will always depend on dialogue with Russia.’
Recently, over 900 vehicles with the Russian tricolour flag wended their way through Berlin as the German people showed remarkable solidarity with the Russian draining of the Ukrainian swamp. Was it a soul sentiment as the media-promoted Russophobia is closely related to Germaphobia? Ironically, the current anti-Russian sanctions and hatred is a mirror image of that of the Western powers before the onset of the equally preventable World War II in September 1939.
Are the sanction impoverished Germans waking up to reality? The last constitutional with international recognition was Hitler’s National Socialist administration. However, in May 1945, the Allies arrested, hanged or imprisoned the nation’s elected parliamentarians. In place of the valid constitution, a ‘constitution’ drawn up by Washington was put in place. As former President Obama pointed out, ‘Germany is an occupied country.’
