The stench on uncollected garbage is not only reaching noses it is reaching the past. The foul environment ~ ironically ushered in by a regime that touts itself as environmentally friendly is reaching a level not endured since medieval times.

England’s Chief Medical Officer promises no more lockdowns

Lockdowns are unlikely to be needed again as Britain learns to treat coronavirus like flu, Prof Chris Whitty has said. England’s chief medical officer said that up to 25,000 people die in a bad flu year without anyone noticing and that accepting some Covid deaths would be the price of keeping schools and business open and allowing people to live a ‘whole life’.

Julius Caesar got himself captured by pirates and held for ransom when he was twenty-five. Before you feel sorry for him, this was a fairly common practice at the time (75 BCE). His captors required a ransom of 20 talents of silver (about $600,000 in today’s value).
