It ain’t over ’til it’s over. 7+ billion is a lot of souls to dispense with and out of that number we only need a small fraction to change this war of words and ideas and propaganda into a traditional boots on the ground type war where the weaponry is no longer semantic but severely pragmatic. It will finally put Anarchism to the test. Real anarchism that is. They are few and they depend upon a system that still remains their Achille’s Heel when the shit really hits the fan.
Digital technologies have given many of us a lifeline during lockdown, but also provide an illusion of connection. Anonymity provides cover for trolling, fuels polarization and allows all to feel superior to others from the comfort of our own little bubble. Our disconnection from nature helps us airbrush the effects of climate change, environmental degradation and animal suffering from our minds. The ultimate distance provided by autonomous weapons will allow detachment from the death and destruction (of ‘them’) at the press of a button.

Only now can the story break through the media’s censorhip of real history: “The sacking of Germany after her unconditional surrender will go down in history as one of the most monstrous acts of modern times. Its excess beggars description and its magnitude defy condemnation.” ~ Ralph F. Keeling, Gruesome Harvest; 1947. The Institute of American Economics.
In a Walmart parking lot in Eagle Point, Oregon, 28-year-old cowboy Robert Borba stopped a would-be bike thief armed with little more than a lasso. Steve Hartman went “On The Road” to meet the the man who roped in a perpetrator.
As the world has opened up in the wake of the media-driven highly profitable Covid pandemic, those wanting to travel by air have increasingly been asked to provide proof of full vaccination, a recent negative Covid test or evidence of recovery from the virus. The EU has set up a member-state scheme to allow those with such documentation to move more freely; in certain countries, full vaccination removes the requirement to quarantine on arrival and/or returning home.
DONALD TUSK has warned the European Union could be destroyed from within amid an internal standoff with Poland and Hungary.
