Rising electricity prices could mean the electric car dream was a wet dream

CONSUMERS are reportedly being put off buying electric cars by the continued increases in the price of electricity. With the continued upward trend in electricity prices in Spain, at levels almost never seen before, and reaching the historic levels, exceeding on several occasions in July, those that were registered on January 8 in the middle of storm Filomena, with the recent increases being blamed on international gas prices and CO² emission rights (woolly-headed EU sabotage of economies), which have been driving the upward trend in recent months, together with the lower contribution of renewables into the mix.

On Sunday, the Microsoft and Soros-sponsored Ocean Viking ferry with 549 migrants on board arrived in the port of Pozzallo in South-eastern Sicily. The ship’s crew had to wait several days before the threatened by Brussels intimidation Italian authorities decided where it could anchor. Citing a spokesman for SOS Méditerranée, the DPA agency reported on the ship’s arrival.

During a very windy day, 95-year-old Bob Malloy was worried about walking all the way home with his bag of groceries after shopping. He reached out to one of the supermarket employees, 18-year-old Christian Trouesdale, a stock assistant, asking if he could help. The compassionate teen responded by walking with him all the way home; holding Bob’s hand with his right and carrying Bob’s groceries with his left hand, and keeping a warm smile on his face the whole time.
