GREAT EUROPEANS: Remains of Ernest Shackleton’s ship Endurance have been discovered near the South Pole. The wreck of Anglo-Irish explorer Ernest Shackleton’s Endurance ship has been found, 106 years after it sank east of Antarctica trying to reach the pole.

The cargo ship Felicity Ace, carrying almost 4,000 luxury electric-powered vehicles, has sunk off the Azores taking with it any hope of finding out what caused the fire that has been raging aboard the vessel since last month. The ship sank at approximately 9am local time on Tuesday, according to MOL Ship Management, the managers of the Panama-flagged vessel.
Luxury cars worth over $400 million were destroyed in cargo ship fire. The Felicity Ace was carrying more than 4,000 Volkswagen Group vehicles destroying over $400-million-worth of luxury and commercial vehicles, according to a risk modelling firm.
BREAKING NEWS: Eleven passengers were missing and two missing after a blaze engulfed a ferry sailing from Greece to Italy early on Friday. Firefighters were still battling to rescue people trapped on the ship, authorities said.
