A family from Western Australia went fishing in a motorboat, but instead of fish they “caught” a kangaroo.
Liverpool born poet and writer Michael Walsh traces his Liverpool roots back to 1865. This was the year his Irish great-grandmother arrived in the Second City of Empire. His parents were born at the turn of what was to become the most tumultuous century in history. Michael's father, Patrick, fought in three major conflicts before reaching his fortieth birthday. His mother, Kathleen, was a former nun turned gun-running renegade.
On leaving school at 15 years of age, Michael spent 12 weeks at the Merchant Navy School for Sailors in Sharpness, Gloucestershire. During his years at sea, he was to visit and work in over 60 countries.
The journalist and broadcaster since provided articles and columns for numerous magazines and international news media. In 2011 he was awarded Writer of the Year by the publishers of Euro Weekly News, Europe's highest-circulation newspaper of its kind. He has authored, edited and ghosted over 70 book titles.

This is despite the fact that 87% had already received vaccinations of the Covid vaccine. Of these, 930 people have died since the start of vaccination but last year only 851 people died.
Foliage for two millennia has been considered a useful fertiliser, which, when decomposed, provides the soil with useful mineral and organic substances, accumulated over time. Garden refuse is the best natural fertiliser without a doubt: think again.
Katie Clay knew she was expecting a baby but had no idea her child would be delivered in the parking lot of a potato processing plant.
The total destruction of the German city of Dresden in February 1944 has never been justified. There are squalid attempts to downplay the numbers of martyred civilians. Over three days of infamy, 1,249 USAAF and RAF bombers removed from the face of the earth a once-great city. The holocaust, to give the inferno its proper term, is falsely claimed to have led to the loss of 22,000 to 25,000 lives.
The arts, literature and poetry, were very important to the peoples of the workers Reich. Literature, poetry and art were the roots through which the folk sustained their unique culture.
