BREAKING: A top US army commander publicly trashes Donald Trump for starting an unconstitutional war with Iran.

The commander criticizes Trump’s incompetence for starting a war without a clear goal or focus.

Major General (Ret.) Paul D. Eaton knows a thing or two about fighting poorly conceived wars in the Middle East. He commanded US troops during the Iraq War.

He’s one of the most qualified people to comment on Trump’s reckless and illegal attacks on Iran, and he publicly tore the President a new one for violating the Constitution in a statement:

A man knows more about war than Donald Trump. Trump notoriously dodged the draft five times. The man repeatedly warned about the risks to American lives by starting a war with Iran.

‘Indeed, Trump himself predicted casualties in his speech to America. The Constitution could not be clearer.’

“When launching wars of choice, especially with American lives in the balance, the president goes to Congress. Congress then authorizes it. That did not happen, and these operations are blatantly unconstitutional.”

“More to the point, these operations seem to have no focus. Trump says they’re to keep Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. However, just last year, he said we ‘obliterated’ that program.

It seems to be targeting missile sites, but Trump says it is to stoke regime change. A war without focus is a war with no tangible goals. And a war with no goals ends up a Forever War.”

“Trump said these kinds of Forever Wars would never happen under his presidency. He lied. Just like saying he’d lower prices and bring back jobs, he lied.”

“The Republican Congress must now hold him accountable, or we will hold Republicans in Congress accountable in November.”

He’s absolutely right. We are certain the whipped and broken House Republicans will not face any repercussions.

They eagerly rubber-stamp anything and everything Trump does. This includes protecting pedophiles.

We must vote them all out this November. Then, we should start the impeachment proceedings.

Trump has violated his constitutional oath many times. He has also violated the laws of our once great nation.

This war is going to be beyond disastrous; hundreds of American troops have died. Our vessels are being attacked. The Straits of Hormuz have been closed. The latter will hurl the global economy into crisis.

one of our top military radar installations in the Middle East has already been destroyed and scores of children have been slaughtered by US-made Israeli-launched missiles. We must hold the perpetrators accountable for their actions.

The Russian President described the death of Ayatollah Khamenei as a cynical murder. It violated all norms of human morality. It also violated international law.

“In our country, Ayatollah Khamenei will be remembered as an outstanding statesman. He made an enormous personal contribution to the development of friendly Russian-Iranian relations. He elevated them to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership,” reads the telegram published on the Kremlin website. .
