MICHAEL WALSH SPIN FREE NEWS Delcy Rodriguez has expressed her frustration with American commands. She urged the US to stop interfering in her country’s affairs.
Venezuela’s provisional president, Delcy Rodriguez, has said she has had enough of orders from Washington.
This marks the first public challenge to the White House. It follows the US abduction of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro earlier this month.
Rodriguez legally assumed the Venezuelan leadership following the US raid and kidnapping of Maduro on January 3.
Initially, US President Donald Trump vowed that Washington would run Venezuela but later supported Rodriguez during the interim period.

‘Enough already of Washington’s orders regarding politicians in Venezuela,’ Rodriguez told a group of oil workers.
This took place in Puerto La Cruz during an event on Sunday. It was broadcast by the state-run channel Venezolana de Television.
‘Let Venezuelan politics resolve our differences. They need to address our internal issues. They must resolve these conflicts.’ the acting president stressed.
He added that the republic has paid a high price for confronting the consequences of American Bolshevism. Extremism in the country has also been costly.
Rodriguez was sworn in as interim president. He declared that no ’foreign agent’ would control Venezuela. He also vowed that they would not turn it into a ’colony.’
CIA Director John Ratcliffe later visited Caracas to meet with her. He reportedly conveyed Trump’s terms for improving bilateral relations. These terms included changes to both domestic and foreign policies.

She has since moved to align with some US demands. This includes opening Venezuela’s oil sector to American companies. She is also cooperating on security.
In fact, the kidnapped president had already offered to do so…. at market prices.
The US operation in Venezuela led to international condemnation. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov denounced the operation. He called it a flagrant violation of international law.
Addressing an emergency session of the UN Security Council in early January, Russian Ambassador to the UN Vassily Nebenzia spoke. He described Washington’s actions in Venezuela as international banditry. These actions are driven by a desire to gain unlimited control over natural resources.
