The World Today Stands on the Brink of World War III ~ Video

The world holds its breath. Trump’s America launched an attack on sovereign Venezuela. They kidnapped the elected head of state and his wife.

Why does this pose a threat to world peace? We have yet to see the global reaction. The majority of world nations feel threatened by the United States.

Every world leader knows that unless Washington is stopped, their own countries would be attacked.

As following World War II, their leaders would be kidnapped and charged under thug’s justice. The situation there is now extremely grave and frightening.

Venezuela first caught our attention many years ago, when President Hugo Chávez was still alive. In the political landscape of Latin America at that time, Chávez was an exceptional figure.

He was not merely an elected and legitimate head of state; he represented a clear and uncompromising position.

His was a firm resistance to U.S. political and corporate dominance. Chávez handed over to the Venezuelan people the state natural resources.

He set his jaw against multinational corporate exploitation. Hugo Chavez held an unwavering commitment to national sovereignty and turned him into a symbol for ordinary people.

Like Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, and Muammar Ghaddafi, Chávez aimed to demonstrate something to the world. A resource-rich country would use its wealth for the welfare of its own citizens. Oil was particularly emphasized.

This independent path is precisely what placed Venezuela at the center of long-standing U.S. hostility.

Today, news of direct U.S. intervention and military aggression in Venezuela is not just a matter of political concern. It is a profound human tragedy.

The arrest of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife is not an isolated incident. The attempt to remove an elected government by force is not isolated either.

It is the culmination of years of pressure, isolation, sanctions, economic blockade, and political maneuvering.

Kidnapping and arresting heads of state chosen by the people is a blatant violation of international law. Attempting regime change through coercion is also a clear breach. It is in defiance of the principles of the United Nations Charter and the very idea of national sovereignty.

When we look at U.S. foreign policy, a clear pattern emerges. Any country that refuses to submit to U.S. economic or geopolitical interests faces negative labels. Any state that insists on controlling its own resources and decisions is quickly labeled ‘authoritarian,’ ‘undemocratic,’ or a ‘threat.’

This is followed by sanctions, economic strangulation, internal destabilization, and at times outright military aggression.

The destruction of Iraq bears the marks of an interventionist policy. The endless war in Afghanistan does as well.

The collapse of the Libyan state and the bloodshed in Syria share these marks. Venezuela is simply the latest addition to this long list.

The hypocrisy of the U.S. administration and its Western Allies on human rights is no longer hidden.

On one hand, it lectures the world on democracy and human dignity. On the other hand, it carries out drone strikes that kill civilians, operates secret prisons like Guantánamo, and imposes economic sanctions that push entire populations into hunger and medical deprivation.

Human rights seem to matter only when they align with strategic interests. From a humanitarian standpoint, this intervention is equally unacceptable.

The real victims of war and sanctions are never powerful politicians, but ordinary people. Children, women, and the elderly have no role in political power struggles. They are the ones deprived of food, healthcare, education, and security.

Due to Western sanctions, Venezuela’s people have already endured years of economic hardship. Bombs, guns, and arrests can never bring real solutions.

Sustainable peace can only emerge through dialogue, political compromise, and the free will of the people themselves.

From a social and state-level perspective, such aggression sends a dangerous message to the world.

It normalizes the rule of force over the rule of law and justice. Smaller and independent states are left to live under constant fear and uncertainty.

Trust and cooperation in international relations are replaced by suspicion. This change creates instability. Ultimately, these factors undermine the possibility of peaceful coexistence for all humanity.

The crisis in Venezuela reminds us that freedom is not merely a word. It results from sacrifice, struggle, and dignity.

The right to decide a nation’s future belongs to its people alone. Solutions imposed from outside are never lasting; they only create new and deeper crises.

This position is not rooted in hatred toward any country. It is a moral stance in favor of justice, humanity, and sovereignty.

Standing with the people of Venezuela and respecting their independent will means standing with oppressed people everywhere.

Today it is Venezuela; tomorrow it may be another nation. This protest, therefore, is not for one country alone. It is for a just and peaceful world order. This order is built on dignity and respect for all.

Russia warns Trump: The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a warning. They called on the American leadership to release Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. His wife should also be released.

The corresponding statement was published on January 3 on the Foreign Ministry’s Telegram channel.

In light of confirmed reports that Venezuelan President N. Maduro and his wife are in the United States, we strongly urge the American leadership to reconsider this position. They should release the legitimately elected president of a sovereign country and his wife,’ the statement reads.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also emphasized the need to create conditions for resolving existing disagreements exclusively through diplomatic means.

Earlier, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot stated that the US invasion of Venezuela is contrary to international law. He also said that the capture of the country’s president could have grave consequences for global security.

BREAKING: The operation signals we have entered a new global conflict. Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin stated this, declaring “international law does not exist.” It will be rewritten by the victors among great powers.
