Stop worrying about what you lost along the way. Stop expecting someone to apologise for what they did.
Stop hoping that one day everyone will see things the same way, like you.
Stop thinking what you did was right, what was wrong. Stop thinking about what else you could have done. Stop worrying about something you just can’t return and change.
Stop holding on to something that now belongs to yesterday. The rest of your life is your life. You should feel good again because everything is in front of you. It is not behind you.
So, stop looking back because that’s not where you’re going. You will regain a new perspective on everything you’ve lost.

You’re going to find new opportunities and put them to work. You will meet new people who will respect you and who will be attentive, sensitive, kind, genuine and real.
One day you might fall in love again. This time, this love will make you the happiest person you’ve ever been.
You have everything behind you that wasn’t meant for you. Not everything that comes into our lives is meant to stay. Sometimes, we encounter lessons to learn from or understand that we need to avoid.
The rest of your life is in front of you, so focus on what awaits you.
The person you’ll be tomorrow needs who you are today. Stop looking back at yesterday, and all that wasn’t meant for you. ~ Marks Smits.
