ANTIWAR: Why Do We So Easily Believe the Constant Spewing of Lies?
I cannot stress the overwhelming, toxic spell of Cold War propaganda enough.
It affected the minds of three generations. This included some of the most intelligent people.
Relentless Cold War rhetoric accomplished a near-total indoctrination of our entire US culture.

Religious institutions, academic and educational institutions from kindergarten through graduate school, professional associations. Political associations, from local to national, within the scientific community.
The economic system, the entertainment industry from radio and TV to Hollywood and sports, fraternal organizations, Boy Scouts, etc.

All systematically colluded and cooperated to preserve unquestioning belief in the unique nobility of the US American system.
Yet, at the same time, they instil rabid fear. This fear is paranoid and targets those they claim are enemies.
These enemies are said to be both in our midst and ‘out there’.
Why to rationalize otherwise pathologically inexplicable behavior around the world as well as at home?
The atrocities committed in the name of defeating communist bogeymen are nearly beyond belief.
Our cultural schooling is so pervasive as to generate a universally compelling mythology powerful enough to conceal its own contradictions.
Our cultural corruption was so complete our nation proudly utilized B-52s blessed by God-fearing chaplains flying five miles high.

What for? To bomb unarmed, mostly Buddhist peasants living nine thousand miles across the Pacific.
It is very difficult to recognize in ourselves what would be considered criminally insane behavior if carried out by others.
Having been born on July 4, 1941, I was a proudly patriotic baby of the World War II generation.
I attended Baptist Sunday school and adult church with my parents and brother every week. We never missed a service. We also regularly read passages from the Bible before breakfast.
We were ‘law-abiding’ citizens, and my father, too old for military service, never missed a day of work

My mother was a homemaker. I thanked God regularly for being born in the United States of America.
It is the greatest country in the world’s history. Our Creator blessed it to bring prosperity to the impoverished and Christianity to the heathen.
Like my dad, I believed that as long as J. Edgar Hoover was head of the FBI, our democratic Christian freedoms were most certainly secure from our enemies.
The propaganda I grew up with about the US was nothing short of spectacular. Virtually all of it went unchallenged by anyone I knew.
I was one of those millions captivated by the Cold War propaganda.
Now almost 84, fifty-six years out of Vietnam, I am aghast that nothing has changed.

The news media and politicians are raging about the evils of our chief adversary, now Russia.
Same, same. Lies and more lies. Imposing sanctions on dozens of countries.
Bombing at least seven countries. Special Forces are roaming in more than 100 countries.
They are looking for ‘terrorists’ without a clue that they themselves are part of the greatest terrorist machine in history.
The US government, and its compliant military, enabling obscene profits for the Military-Congressional-Intelligence-Wall Street-Drug Complex.
Having destroyed Iraq, Syria, Serbia, Afghanistan, Libya, and others, the US American people just consented to imperial brutality. Meanwhile, the USA brand is rapidly decaying at home.

NOTE: WITNESS TO HISTORY Historian Michael Walsh. The only book that completely destroys the war victors’ propaganda. It is widely regarded as the most popular book in the history of historical revisionism.
This remarkable book offers an in-depth examination of key events and figures from a historical perspective. This book challenges conventional narratives surrounding the Third Reich.
It presents alternative viewpoints and documented sources. These offer a fresh analysis of that turbulent era. Through thorough research, it aims to shed light on often-overlooked aspects of history.
It encourages readers to think critically about established beliefs. Whether you are a history enthusiast or a scholar, this work promises to provoke thought. It encourages discussion about the complexities of this significant period.
Witness to History has an international readership of hundreds of thousands. It has radically changed the minds of millions duped by the propaganda of the victors. One book by one man is changing history and perceptions of the Third Reich.
‘I have read a lot about WWII and Germany. This includes David Irving’s books. However, you wrapped it all in a really tidy and factual package. I highly recommend it to all my history truth-seeking friends. Thank you for such a great book.’ ~ B. Wiggles. https://barnesreview.org/product/witness-to-history-the-reich-legend-uncensored/
