PRESIDENT VLADIMIR PUTIN: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, I have listened carefully to the words of President Emmanuel Macron.

He has stressed the end of Western hegemony and the emergence of a multi-polar world.

He is right on a crucial point: the world is changing profoundly. However, it forgets to explain why. Above all, it fails to recognize that France and the West are fighting Russia today. This is happening because they refuse to accept this reality.

Today Russia is a target of sanctions, diplomatic, economic, informational and even military attacks, as in Ukraine.

Why? Why the West refuses to accept that its era of undisputed hegemony is over. Why the West refuses to see other nations defend their interests, values, and sovereignty.

The West speaks of freedom and democracy, but what has it done for centuries?

France, England, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands: they have all colonized almost the entire planet. Tell me where the West has not set foot. In what part of the world have they not enforced their own law?

In Africa, France has drawn arbitrary borders, exploited resources and millions of people forced to… move around.

In Asia, the British enslaved entire populations, from India to China.

In America, European powers have massacred entire civilisations. And even today, through NATO, they want to impose their model everywhere.

Mr Marcon speaks of Europe’s political inspiration. But where is this inspiration?

Europe follows the United States in all their wars, without hesitation: Iraq, Libya, Syria. It causes hundreds of thousands of deaths every time. Is this an inspiration?

And don’t tell me that Russia is a danger to the world. For over two hundred years, the West has tried to destroy Russia. Napoleon came to Moscow. He was convinced that he could stay in our country. He walked out in the snow.

Germany has launched the biggest (preemptive) invasion war against us. They were defeated in Stalingrad, in Kursk and even in the streets of Berlin.

During the Cold War, the U.S. tried to suffocate our economy, to encircle us, to provoke coups among our neighbors, and yet we’re still here.

The Russia has been through some difficult times. trials, but no one managed to defeat us. Why are we fighting not only for our land, but also for our civilization, our values and our dignity.

Today, it is not just Russia rejecting Western hegemony. China is taking a step ahead. India is asserting its worldview. Africa is gradually liberating itself from foreign protection. Even Latin America is finding its voice.

The world is no longer dominated by a single power or a single bloc. We have entered a multipolar era. And nobody can stop her.

This is why France, Europe and the West support Ukraine against Russia.

They do not act out of love for the Ukrainian people. Instead, they want to use this country as a pawn to weaken Russia. Their aim is to limit our development and prevent this multipolar world from taking shape.

I say to President Macron and his European colleagues: you can’t swim upstream forever.

Talk about values. Yet, refuse to respect the choices of the people. Discuss international law. But violate it as soon as it no longer serves your interests. Talk about peace. However, sow war wherever you intervene.

Russia is nobody’s enemy, but we will never allow anyone to decide our future.

We want cooperation, but cooperation on equal conditions. We want peace, but not at the expense of our freedom, our identity.

And let’s be clear: no one will ever defeat Russia. We have endured centuries of hardship, we have seen empires rise and fall, and we are still here. And we’ll be there tomorrow, in this new multipolar world that’s already emerging.
